Sound Check | September 13-19, 2015
For the week beginning September 13, 2015
Click on the screen-cap of the video to play the video.
This week on the SOUND CHECK TOP 20, Justin Bieber became the third artist in just under a year to debut at #1, following Taylor Swift ("Blank Space") and The Weeknd ("Can't Feel My Face"). While those two songs repeated as champions in their second week, the task facing Bieber is perhaps the most difficult. In fact, both Taylor Swift and The Weeknd are breathing down his neck, with "Wildest Dreams" and "The Hills," respectively. Demi Lovato looks to end the summer season with a stay at #1 with "Cool For The Summer," and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis look to stay in the top 10 following their #8 debut a week ago.
Also, be on the lookout for countdown debuts from Nick Jonas and Leona Lewis.

For the week beginning September 20, 2015
Click on the screen-cap of the video to play the video.
This week on the SOUND CHECK TOP 20, The Weeknd's reign just won't let up. At least that's what Abel Tesfaye is hoping for as he looks for his third #1 video with consecutive weeks at the summit after "The Hills" rode up to the top spot a week ago. Standing in his way is a resurgent Justin Bieber, whose own "What Do You Mean?" has already debuted at #1 but is looking to prove that debut was no fluke. Then there's Taylor Swift and "Wildest Dreams," which is seeking to become Tay-Tay's fourth #1 video from the gigantic 1989.
While you try to figure out who has this week's #1 video, also be on the lookout for countdown debuts from Hozier and Major Lazer.

This week on the SOUND CHECK TOP 20, The Weeknd rolls into the competition feeling good, having scored the #1 song in the country for the past two weeks with "The Hills." Will "Hills" match his previous #1 hit "Can't Feel My Face" with three consecutive weeks at the top, or can Justin Bieber return to the place he began his countdown run with "What Do You Mean?" Taylor Swift is still looking for her fourth #1 video from this album cycle, as "Wildest Dreams," remains a mainstay in the chart's top 5. Can she break through this week?
Also on tap this week is a debut from Ellie Goulding and a return from Calvin Harris.
