Voyage will not happen. Considering next season will probably have some budget cuts (season five only had twelve episodes) I'm sure a voyage/island/whatever will be expensive to build.

I highly doubt budget cuts were the reason for only 12 episodes, he'll the amount of screen time this season in the first few eps equates to about 14 episodes for Hotel anyway. It was probably partly that and to accommodate the cart, a good amount of them swiftly moved on to other projects.



This and Fargo are FX's biggest cash cows, there won't be any budget cuts. John Landgraf adores Ryan and this show.

Budget cuts are def not the reason this season only had 12 episodes.

But the fact is, having a whole season set on an island or on a boat is going to be expensive. The show is mostly interior shots for this purpose. It's easier to have a contained set than filming on a cruise ship or an island, unless they pull a Gilligan's Island.

A season location being a luxury liner could work, but the aesthetic would be too similar to Hotel unless they don't go with Art Deco. And I don't see AHS: Lost happening. My guesses are either Ghost Town (NOT with ghosts, i don't want to see a ghost in AHS never again) or Boarding School, both centered around cults.
