Everything they've done with YDO thus far has been perfect. They don't care about sales of WFL, they want the records for #1 singles, clearly. Besides, YDO was needed to gain urban support for the album. WFL has zero urban appeal whatsoever.

If they really wanted multi-format crossover hit, 'Talk That Talk' f/ Jay Z would have been the best choice. It has Pop, Urban and Rhythmic appeal, and also has Jay-Z on which is huge support.
