I feel like most of ATRL will never accept her cause she's seen as a "flop" artist. Pretty dumb though cause she's brilliant but I'll definitely give her my coins with this visual EP. Can't wait

ATRL as a whole cares far too much for success tbh. "Sleepwalker" is easily one of the best pop songs released in 2013. Perfection. I'll definitely be buying if she ever officially releases something.

I think pop is tricky because the lyrics need to have widespread appeal and be accessible, but they also need to say something substantive.

This is what I struggled with this week. I definitely didn't come up with anything Max Martin level of slay but I'm kinda happy with how it's still got a strong pop vibe but the lyrics aren't totally trash or cliche either. At least that's what I was aiming for.
