Max Martin helped get her some hits sure but is being global really more important than her future legacy? She was bigger during the Fearless era and she didn't need to work with people who mostly work on just writing hit singles. She wrote Speak Now all alone. 3 great albums all were done without this pop songwriter. Imo she was better off without him and I doubt that feeling will change.

She's done pretty well so far based on her musical decisions. If she makes a Lotus or Artpop or Britney Jean, then complain about where it went wrong.

Last I checked, Red was nominated for AOTY at the Grammy's and went 4 Plat. Let's wait and see what LP5 sounds like before topping ourselves. Taylor sounds very positive about the songs on her new album. That'll do for me, considering she has actually heard the songs.
