I kind of agree with this, 100%. After Teenage Dream and Roar, Katy was beginning to get a little too overexposed, hence by the rest of the singles "underperfomed". Dark Horse was only a hit because it was something really different from what people expected from Katy Perry. This tour can only be good for her in the long run. 2016 is a good time to wait until starting a new era.

She'll so try to surprise release something. Recording "secretly" since last year here and there. I'd say Q1 2016 for the lead single is a possibility.

Single in March album in June would be good. Get that summer smash. One promo track at the end of May, just to see how it fares. If it does well, make it a single. If not, try something else.

PWT is the hugest female tour of 2014 and maybe the #1-#2-#3 biggest female tour of 2015, too. She couldn't know that the demand would be so HUGE. She's doing some stadium dates in her next tour, bookmark me.

Lead single in Q2 2016. She had been in the studio 0,5-1 year ago, she has prepared some songs and I think she's gonna write some songs in her 3 month-break.

Some of you should stop with these "this tour needs to end", "she has to write on the road" etc. Hers and her team couldn't imagine that the demand would be so huge. Also, that's her style; she isn't writing on the road, she finishes touring, takes a break and then starts writing. She's delivering something different with K4. She noticed how the music industry changes and also understood that she's HUGE, she just played the Halftime Show. She will avoid making singles songs like This Is How We Don't and will be more careful with making music videos and single choices in general.

Despite this, she should do a collaboration this year to collect her 10nth #1, with Rihanna tbh. I don't think that Rihanna is gonna have a #1 this year () so that's a good solution for both.

What's her main competition in 2015? Taylor and Madonna? Considering they'll have the benefit of having the majority of their tour in 2015 like Katy had last year, I'd imagine that they'd have to do better. If Katy outgrossed them with half of her tour. Next tour will definitely be a stadium tour. She knows she can do it now.

Tour is fine. I don't really want a Rihanna collab because the GP is clearly over Rihanna and the song would probably flop like CRTFY so it'd be a pointless release.

You're the "lol" here, delusional and always pessimistic. She has never tried to prove she's an artist, PRISM was a different direction she took in her music (PRISM as a whole album) and that was very successful, producing 2 huge worldwide hits. She's not doing the same. K4 will be different from TD and PRISM.
