If you ask my honest opininon, that CMA Pinnacle Award was a goodbye to her from country music industry. They don't want her in that genre anymore, they are supporting Kacey Musgraves or some other new acts, and Taylor already lost so many of her country fans, LP5 won't be a new thing for those country fans, why do you think Red didn't do well at country airplay charts ? She lost her country fanbase, so she'll make a transition to pop. That's what she calls 'different sound' However, her uniqueness, which means writing her personal experineces will be the same in every album of her.

I don't understand why this bitch is risking her artistic integrity and legacy for a few quick singles. WANEGBT and Trouble. were huge, yes, but were they credible? No. WANEGBT was a generic mess, and only had credibility in its story progression and it's self-parody aspect. IKYWT. is great lyrics wise, but it's production is SHITE. What ****s me up the most is 22. That song had potential to be GREAT. SERIOUSLY GREAT. But the production of it took this incredibly crafted song and turned it into a generic Miranda Cosgrove/Hannah Montana mess. A song about confusion and addiction turned into this ****** song about partying.
It's just so disheartening to see someone so talented go to ****.

IKYWT broke Taylor into the UK market. She is there now playing to 100k people. That wouldn't have happened without IKYWT.
