There doesn't seem to be much of that at all for Hillary.
People should be excited to vote for her. She's got an excellent platform and the competency to see it (or at least some of it) through. Instead, they think they're voting for the "lesser of two evils" because of conspiracy theories and overexaggerated scandals perpetuated by the monster she's running against / conservative media in general.

Right. But in 2008, Obama was relatively new and exciting so his entire campaign seemed more authentic. Hillary got her first public role in the '80s. Most millennials haven't followed her for that long, so they simply don't understand how she got where she is, other than being Bill's wife and a scandalous SoS. Obama is also pretty cool personality wise and he's a fantastic orator, whereas Hillary just doesn't have that aura surrounding her. She'll be a great president, but if you're not interested in politics I can see how it could be difficult to get fired up for her. Like she said, when it comes to public service she's better at the service part. Maybe that'll help her re-election chances.
I think that it'll still be pretty historic in the end and people will be proud to have been a part of it.
