Taylor & Zendaya at the AMAs
The American Music Awards were this weekend, plenty of artists being announced to perform at the music award show. The first artists to be announced were the country acts, acts like Luke Bryan, Miranda Lambert, artists that no one outside the United States cares about. Then were the second tier like Katy Perry, LaToya Jackson, and Lady Gaga. Taylor Swift and Zendaya were announced to perform at the award show last. Rumor has it Taylor and Zendaya's performance slot was booked last minute, replacing Keri Hilson's supposed slot that she and her label had been saving for, for awhile. Zendaya and Taylor opened the show, the announcer announcing them to the stage. The girls stood on the stage wearing Versace leather jackets that were designed specially for them, along with some latex shorts and knee high heel boots. They wore commander hats (police hats)as R&B instrumental to the song hit. Zendaya sang the first part smoothly under the blue light that shined over them. Taylor then would do a pose and little snap in the instrumental would be heard and Zendaya would repeat after her. The two did choreography throughout the performance and definitely made it entertaining for the audience. The two also included a breakdown where they did some arm choreography, almost serving drill sergeant teas with it. Their vocals were on point as they killed their parts and even did some ad-libs mid dance routine at times. They had the best performance of the night and it helped the song's sales on iTunes, giving it a good lead on the #2 song that trailed behind them.

Zendaya & Taylor perform on Rising Star
Zendaya and Taylor both together appeared on the stage of Rising Star show, where they performed their new collaborative single "Gunshots", which obviously caused a major buzz, probably because this song represent's Zendaya's transition from a Disney girl to a true and dedicated recording artist. Plus, the music video is really, like, really really controversial, so that video also caused a drama in someway as people were debating on social websites if that kind of thing is appropriate for an underage girl, who also used to be a Disney girl. But yeah, this is not about that. So Zendaya and Taylor appeared together on the stage of Rising Star when they performed their single "Gunshots". Instead of performing that normal version of "Gunshots" that these girls usually do during their performances, this time, the duo decided to strip down musically and do an acoustic version of this song. Both of them were standing infront of a microphone stands, and Taylor was carrying a guitar as well. The performance started off with both of them singing couple of lines in acapella, completely acapella, like, nobody was helping them out with instrumental or anything. After they sang those couple of lines, they took a big breath and Taylor started slowly pulling those strings. Overall, this performance was completely simple and literally stripped down, but it wasn't boring or whatever, which usually happens during acoustic performances when people get tired of the same melody - no, this performance was actually interesting and fun, and it was weird to see them really slowing down after a lot of their fast and big and loud performances.

Glastonbury 2014
Each year there are hundreds of music festivals that the biggest popstars in the world perform at. This year Katy Perry performed a concert for BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend, Rihanna BBC Radio 1's Hackney Weekend in 2012. Perhaps this year the biggest music festival that is Glastonbury had American singer-songriter and bona fide superstar Taylor Swift. Taylor Swift performed a full concert set for the one hundred thousand people that shoed up to watch the chanteuse sing. Swift was the headlining act for the Saturday show, artists like Ed Sheeran, Leona Lewis, and Disclosure performing before Swift came on for an hour and forty five minute show. The stage was adjusted after label mate Sky Ferreira sang, props and such being added to resemble the staging of Swift's Electric Princess World Tour. The screens on the stage were replaced with bigger ones that rose out of the floor of the stage, along with a staircase that was wheeled out. The intro to the Glastonbury headliner's set was a bit iconic as it showed the continuation of the 'Gunshots' video. Taylor and Zendaya are seen flooring the gas pedal of the cadillac as the cop car behind them speeds up too to chase the girls. Eventually as the girls maneuver to get away from the cop more cops are chase them, even to the point where a helicopter is flying over them. The girls never look worried as they smile at the chase they are on. They go through a tunnel and while in the tunnel speeding away and avoiding traffic, Taylor throws a bomb out into the road. They floor the pedal and make it out as the tunnel bursts into flames. They helicopter chases them a bit farther before they go through some more tunnels, where Taylor and Zendaya get out of the car and get into another car, a car that a male directs them to (it is assumed that he's in on it with them). The girls strip themselves from their suits and give them to him before they drive away. It isn't long before the two girls park the car and split ways, Taylor walking inside an abandoned warehouse. When she opens the door lights flash a bright white. Taylor then appeared on the stage where she performed 'Gunshots' as the opening song instead of 'Psycho'. In fact, Taylor didn't even include the song in her setlist. The set was absolutely incredible as it was streamed and listened to over five hundred thousands times. The set was well received by critics who applauded Swift's vocals and stage presence. Taylor Swift's 'Coven 13' EP is available on iTunes and in stores now.

SNL uses "Gunshots" for a skit
Although this week SNL was hosted by the princess of pop, Britney Spears herself, and even if she was the ultimate highlight of that episode, but Saturday Night Live also used "Gunshots" song by Zendaya and Taylor for one of their skits as well. Neither Zendaya or Taylor appeared on this episode, but people still talked about them and "Gunshots" after this episode. It was really fun to see how they used "Gunshots", and it was funnier when they shaded some of the pop girls by using "Gunshots" as well as one of the actors that acted in this skit freestyled while "Gunshots" was playing: "Ayo bitches, I'm about to gunshoot y'all / Tryna act like they big when their songs are just too small / Uh-oh, smellin' those problems, I'm troubled / When I shoot y'all feel like you've been shoveled" A lot of people thought that this part of super shady and that it was directed towards some of pop girls, but that was denied later on Twitter by some of the actors. Zendaya tweeted out the link of the video on YouTube after it was posted up there and recommended everyone to watch it because it's hella hilarious. The video also went viral as a lot of people watched it a lot of times - it received about 1M views in just few hours, which is really huge!

Azealia spills on Avicii-penned reggae track with Aguilera - 'Spitfire'
It has been confirmed by Azealia Banks that she shall indeed be featured on Christina Aguilera's upcoming 8th studio album - "Pandora's Box" - on a mystifying track called "Spitfire". That's not all though. She has spilled the beans and claims that the song will be an Indie trance-infused track with a rock-y blues-y melodic reggae twist based on urbanised Hip-Hop beats. Avicii's has been forever linked with "Spitfire" ever since the album tracklist for "Pandora's Box" had been revealed. However, according to Miss Banks, the "Levels" producer Avicii will only help with some of the lyrics on "Spitfire" (of course, Azealia will spit her very own lines) and maybe even overlook some of the production. This leads me onto the final point made by the "212" starlet, Azealia can EXCLUSIVELY confirm for us that "Spitfire" shall be produced by universally-acclaimed Hip Hop producer - DJ Premier. If you may recall, he was also the executive producer of Aguilera's Back To Basics Disc 1 back in 2006.
We're so excited for this special collab!

Aguilera's 'Spitfire' CONFIRMED as second single
It has been confirmed by both Aguilera and Azealia's teams that their reggae track "Spitfire" shall be released as the second single off of Christina Aguilera's upcoming 8th studio album - "Pandora's Box". The reggae track shall follow on from "Nighthawks" reasonable success as it marks the third time Christina has ever collabed with a female rapper ever since Nicki Minaj with WooHoo from Bionic in 2010.
The cover art for "Spitfire" has also been revealed to be a black and white photograph of Aguilera leaning on some type of scaffolding rail whilst donning a bougie-inspired ensemble, a styrofoam cup in one leather-gloved hand.
This track will feature writing credits from Swedish musical mastermind Avicii and mainly produced by world-renowned Hip Hop producer DJ Premier. Word on the street is that it'll be released pretty soon, however, there is no release date as of yet. Be sure to stay tuned for more Xtina news as you really do not want to miss such a mystifying collaboration of sorts.

Xtina performs on The View

Backstage at The View studios, Aguilera can be seen sporting just a handful of pearls and black short shorts to cover her infamous tush. She poses on a luxurious chair in her dressing room in such a bougie-ridden fashion. It's almost too bougie to bare. Her hair is slicked back to the side in a classic and timeless manner whilst donning fresh hooker makeup, which is ON POINT. Xtina is a rich bitch!
The 'Beautiful' songstress took to The View's stage as she riffed her way through the lead single "Nighthawks" which shall be included on Aguilera's upcoming 8th studio album - "Nighthawks". Christina was met with grave adoration as she shared with us a rendition of her organic track.

Britney Spears Hosts VH1 Top 20 Countdown
Britney Spears hosted the VH1 Top 20 countdown this week, counting down the hottest videos of the week from Vibes to Juicy Cake to Gunshots to her own video for Gimme Your Best which landed at the #1 spot. The episode was 1 hour long and featured Spears commenting on clips of each song and whether it deserved the spot or not. Spears gave praise to most of the pop stars and was ecstatic to receive the #1 video. After the full "Gimme Your Best" video aired at the top spot, Spears announced that she had a surprise for fans. She revealed that a 15 minute "Making The Video" would air for her new music video to end off the VH1 Countdown.
The making the video featured a goofy Britney getting her hair and makeup done, rehearsal for the dancing segments, and showed a behind the scenes look at the editing process of actually putting the video together. The making the video started with rehearsals that took place two weeks prior to the taping of the video, showing how Britney was learning all the dance moves. It then moved to Britney driving to the set on the two day shoot and showed her events throughout each day from hair and makeup to the taping of the video. It put a large focus on the orgy scene which took place the second day and showed a pre-scene interview with each one of the guys on how nervous they were for what they were about to do. It showed the camera and microphone set up as the director explained how they were shooting each scene of the video and the video editors explained how strenuous the after-effects process was to make the futuristic look in space and on the other planets, especially with the time limit they had to produce the video. Spears looked fantastic in the Making The Video before and after applying makeup, she was also very excited to tape the Mars scene in the Oops outfit and commented "This is the exact outfit I wore in 2000, two babies later and it still fits!" she jumped up and down in excitement. The behind the scenes look also featured some cute couple moments between Cristiano and Britney. Spears' bubbly personality shined in the making the video and fans were very excited with the surprise as #BritneyMakingTheVideoVH1 trended on twitter.
After the 15 minute Making The Video special there was still time remaining and Spears took to the stage to perform Gimme Your Best. Spears' was wearing the new 10 million dollar Victoria's Secret bra with skinny jeans. Spears performed Gimme Your Best with a head-mic and female dancers singing the song live while dancing with her ladies. Smoke surrounded the stage and fire shot out during the dance breaks, the girls did twirls splits and moved flexibly across the stage. At the end of the performance Spears kissed one of the girls and spoke sexually into the mic "sometimes.. a man can't fill a women's desires, but another woman can", smoke surrounded the stage as VH1 faded to black an ended.
