I listened to the album once, then I listened to my favorite parts of my favorite songs, and now i'm gonna try to not listen to it until the stream tonight
HWR have screwed a lot in the past, but they will really TEST ME if they don't release "Stars Dance" as a single. Heck, even if that means sacrificing "Save the Day" or "Undercover", they cannot let that masterpiece go to waste. You do not include the pop song of THE YEAR in your album and not release it. It needs an epic video, like mermaid-themed (not Gaga mermaid, pretty mermaids!) or enchanting forest or something along those lines, but it needs to be released!
Why are people saying "Like a Champion" is reggae? Have you ever even heard reggae music?
Her trying to do the Jamaican accent in the chorus just ruins the entire song.

I don't think people think of it as a "reggae song", but I do think the song has a little reggae influence. Correct me if I'm wrong, because I don't listen to reggae

The intro sound like reggae, and her accent in the chorus is fitting, yes. However, the song itself doesn't sound like reggae at all, and I'm not really sure where that came from; it may just be the "Rum-pa-pa-pum-pum" part.
"Like a Champion" is a cultural appropriation mess.
how is it exactly cultural appropriation though? because she has a different accent in the song? artists have been putting out island influenced songs even back then . the bindi wearing phase was cultural appropriation not like a champion. it's a harmless song

Thanks a lot for your respectful answer. And still, I still kinda hate the song lol it's catchy but not my favorite from her!

Both are. Her imitating an accent that isn't natural to her is using it for an unnecessary reason, and it is cultural appropriation. This era is full of that already. And other artists doing it doesn't mean it's any better. The other songs on the album are great, though.
