I think she already know some of her fans doesn't support this decision, but she really has to increase her popularity. That's the perfect timing, next album might be her peak (commericially) Part of the reason that Taylor was always underestimated, or wasnt liked by GP was that she wasn't a singles artist and she didn't have enough airplay. She outsold her peers in album sales, but this definitely didn't %100 turn into the impact, her impact was really low compared to her sales. Next era she probably will have a huge airplay success and her single success will increase. We can expect 2 #1s in the next era.

Why be like everyone else when you were different and unique? You weren't fully country or pop but your own unique sound. Red was a great album because she might have had mm songs, but she still had other songs to balance it out. Ugh I couldn't imagine even more than 40 percent of the album being max martin songs

But you all forget sometinhg. Taylor's uniqueness is not being country, or country-pop, Taylor is known for writing songs from her personal experiences. This will never change, as she emphasizes in every interview. She'll always write songs from her personal experiences but the sound will be more pop than the country. Some country fans of her might be disappionted, but i think most of her fans aren't her fans just because she sing country music, but because her writing skills. Believe me, you probably love those songs when you hear them.

Yes that is what makes her a great artist. Which is why MM being on so many songs is a negative. Give me Taylor by herself or Tay and Liz Rose please

She was in Nashville for the CMAs, then she had to dash off to NYC for the VSFS, then she had to go to LA for the AMAs, then the UK for Winter Whites Gala, then straight to NZ and Aus for Red Tour. Then she went to UK just before Christmas to see Ed.

She spent Christmas with her family. Was that in Nashville or LA? Then she spent some time with Hailee and Selena. That was probably in LA. She then stayed in LA for the Golden Globes and the Grammy's, we know this because she was going to the Gym every day. She then flew to the UK. So she has been really busy.

She might have been working with Max Martin in LA this past month, but it's LA, it could be virtually anyone.

I don't care who she produces with as long as the music has longetivity. RED can be played anytime for me, IKYWT is one of my most played taylor songs on my itunes, let's forget 22 for now (even tho it's a bop), and WANEGBT was bigger than it was allowed to be. Even though i wanted a rock, "cowpunk", bluegrass, it's up to Taylor and her team, we can't do anything about it.

MM extracts this uniqueness. I still cringe at 22 and WANEFLOP at times. I doubt they will grow on me so long after the album's release... An album full of MM will NOT suffice.
