I don't think we're talking privilege here. This is something uniquely Trump. In any other election year, any other man would have lost the election months ago. His brand of crazy somehow protects him from the hits.

Yeah movement leaders never have silent majorities (Bernie, Obama and Trump) as their supporters are as loud as they can be. With Obama, the polls made it very clear he'll win against McCain. The others, not so much. Don't count on them having a silent majority. Hillary will probably have that.
