Now look at the current #3, actually increasing 1%, Gaga's 8% drop is her own free falling and has nothing to do with the #1.

No one is saying every other lead single doesn't fall after its first day. People are discussing how quickly PI is freefalling. Its update are not synonymous to Work's situation and its falling against a #1 song that has already been there for weeks + is more stable and not gaining as quickly as PT was.

It's true Gaga could turn around, but with the mixed reception and what not so far, it's not looking good.

Not sure why some of y'all are trying to compare Rih to LG like that.

Tbh Gags has more fans than Rih but the GP backs Rih a bit more. Almost all of Rihanna's songs were deemed floor ps and didn't reach top of iTunes at initial release.

Gags on the other hand,save for the songs before she was a star, initial response to her stuff is what sticks. But hey this could be a grower. I remember people saying Diamonds was the biggest flop ever but it's her biggest hit in Europe (excl UK because they left)

We don't have a song at the exact same level right now, but Gold was just white and went from 29.0% to 32.1% in the last update. So yeah you are right that's a very comparable update.

Only difference is Stressed Out selling 107k that week and Gold being around 50k.
