Gillian flynn is the most popular author on ATRL. She has written 3 books that can simultaneously make you feel uncomfortable, overwhelmed and intrigued. 2 of those books are being made into books, notably Gone Girl which is expected to be a good hit at the box office (it is directed by David Fincher). The other movie is called Dark Places and it is starring Charlize Theron. It is my personal favorite.

David Fincher is a little overrated. I only use "Fight Club," "Panic Room," and "The Social Network" from him. Honorable mention to "Seven" (back when Brad Pitt was charismatic, likable, and relevant without hanging on Michael Fassbender's coattails.) I'm a fan of Charlize Theron, so I'll definitely look into "Dark Places" when it's released.
