My sexuality doesn't phase me. Like you can't insult me for being gay because I literally couldn't give a single ****. Fagggot, fairy, pixie, fruit cake, dick-sucker, etc.. none of them hurt me in the slightest. Meanwhile don't **** with my race, I'll slice you. I think it's probably because I have direct genetic linkage to race while sexuality just happened.

Homophobia happens casually a lot so if I was offended all the times it was said I'd be STEAMPRESSED. I still don't think it should be said either, but I also think all homophobes and people who "don't agree with being gay" should kill themselves so pay no mind to me.

Why though? I get race being the most sensitive subject because we were all black before we were anything else, but why aren't you offended by homophobic slurs?

I wish I had a thorough answer for you but I honestly don't know. It's just never phased me. I've never been called any homophobic slurs directly but i have witnessed it and I was only bothered due to the guy getting picked on and not by what was being said. I feel as if I'm immune to the word.

I've had it yelled at me from cars, and been called it behind my back (but within earshot) all through high school and a few times in public. I was even called a "batty man" once.
I didn't cry or nothing, but it certainly didn't feel good. I'm sure I'm not the only one like this but just as much as I'm afraid of being targeted for being black, I am equally afraid (if not more) of being targeted for being gay.
