I feel like she's trying too hard to have a new and different sound, and it makes it sound musically uninteresting and uninspired. It has highlights like Right Now, and I think that if she had taken that musical direction it could've been her best album to date. While Talk That Talk felt rushed, this album feels overworked to put it that way. Of course I still love Rihanna, she's a good artist, but I think she should've taken things more calmly. It will be difficult when it comes to singles, I think Right Now is the only song that can save the era from being a complete disaster, like Where Have You Been saved Talk That Talk.

I appreciate your opinion. People seem to either love or hate the album, which I find interesting.

OMG
I had a dream yesterday that I've stolen Loud
I mean It was crazy.
I broke into to the music store with my brother. I took LOUD and I started to run away.
There was police everywhere. And I was running and I was so glad that I have Loud and I'll listen to it when I get home.
I woke up, and I was laughing and I was like 'WTF?'
I don't even know what happened with my brother

Right Now is too safe. it is her worst generic song ever.
I have never been such a big follower of Rihanna, this album made me love her because she is trying some new sounds. She is not playing it safe but still, being it so different, those are really good songs that can turn into big hits. A good thing is that lately, radio is routing for different genres and not only EDM.
Stay is perfect, those urban songs like Pour It Up and Loveeeeee Song are sooo different, Jump is fresh, Nobody's Business was unexpected. I love every sing of it, there is no filler.

Is anyone else ready for a pop album next time? I was disappointed Loud had minimal urban influences but after 2 urban leaning albums I'm ready for some solid pop songs again (like OG, DSTM, etc).
if not that I'll take the red hair. Redanna November 2013.

I'd say because most of the songs are "growers". Right Now is like the only song that isn't a grower because you've heard it all before on the radio so you either like it or you don't.

Unapologetic is a really dark/heavy album, so I'm also here for a lighter album next time around. Also, a less sexual era.
I want an era with blue hair. But not tacky blue. Well done, can be worn on a classy red carpet blue.
Here for more crayola wigs

"Right Now" is the most generic song on the album, if you wanted an album full of cheap pop songs continue to listen to Britney. This album is a masterpiece, it wasn't meant to sound interesting or "inspiring" it's called UNAPOLOGETIC for a reason. Also how is this era a disaster? She is at 600k? with ONE video. I mean isn't FF at 700k--800k sis?

Yeah I heard sexy bitch by david guetta on the radio and I realized that right now reuses some of the same production from it.
