I think avex is not even bothered by those numbers, they probably expected it (or lower nnn) if they wanted the album to be sucessful they would've promoted it.
The "Shh" and "Heaven" singles had 5+ events during the release week while Dress To Kill had 0. The reason for no events/promo was probably Orange Caramel + Uee schedules.

Not shocked at all @ AS's numbers. It's tough enough for SNSD, let alone AS who were never established and have no ability to promote or tour. They did it all wrong, Heaven and Shh are the weakest tracks on the album by far. Why they didn't push Crazy Driver boggles my mind. It has that vocaloid quality that they stan for.

Sorry but she just isn't a major vocal in the group. She usually supports the other vocalists because her voice is versatile. Taeyeon and Jessica have *always* been the main vocals in the group and Tiffany and Seohyun have usually been the lead. Recently SM seems to have promoted Tiffany to a main vocal for some reason.
Some people's irrational hatred of Jessica blocks their view of how important she is in the group After Taeyeon, it's Jessica that has the most lines and ad-libs in their discography. Seohyun is never 2nd in command it's always Jessica/Tiffany if Taeyeon is not there.
I was talking about the TTS mini. I even put the song names down. You really didn't need to count EVERY members lines for Mr.Mr sis, but I appreciate the effort I guess?
And she does stand in for Sica a lot

Is that why she was in a vocal sub-unit and is constantly one of the main vocals? Like, Sica is talented. It's not an either, or, but SM usually push her to try and reach notes she can't maintain.
It was expected in a sense. Zero promotion like Rom said. The OC comeback was right near it too. They should stop promoting in Japan and do 2 comebacks in Korea to get that top tier status and more recognition.
I cry knowing Because of You was their last #1... which was back in 2009...

A: It’s a pity but at the moment, we do not have any scheduled concerts and are not in the midst of planning for any. Even so, we would like to and will definitely meet with our fans in an enjoyable concert!
Q: What are your upcoming plans for 2014? Can we expect an After School comeback soon? RAINA: In 2014, not only will Orange Caramel be promoting our album, After School will be having activities as well. 2014 seems like it will also be a very busy year.
