Seriosly tho, I disagree.
I think people should post about whatever they feel like talking about.
I for one ,love Hard Candy . I played it last night on my way to the gym + during 70 % of my workout and only then switched to MDNA (which only made me realize how much better it is comparison to the latter ).
So, yeah, I don't see the point in saying some posters praise HC to be edgy or something.
The 80's are , by far, my least fave Madonna decade but I've been jamming so hard to her songs from that time . And, I should add how much I love many songs the majority of this base find trash : True Blue, Dear Jessie, Cherish ,Where's The Party even Love Makes The World Go Round .
My point is , tastes vary and change and I don't think it's annoying if everyone and his friend like to talk about something the majority consider to be 'subpar' .Go ahead gurlzz , newbies or old forum *****s, speak your mind , express yourselves !

I get like this about all my faves. But it's especially true for M.

She has literally done everything and I think both her importance in the history of pop music as well as her philanthropic/humanitarian efforts will hopefully be appreciated when she passes on (because no one seems to care now).

ugh I get very emotional when I'm coming down from drinking and if I'm listening to Madonna music I get triggered hardcore and start thinking about how monumental she has been in my life and how sad I'll be when she croaks.

I was listening to Sky Fits Heaven the other day (as I'm wont to do) and I remembered a woman from a previous forum I was on. She's been a fan for a very long time. The Queen to dabunique's Queen. Anyway, she said she remembered when Ray Of Light came out and she watched Madonna on Oprah saying her best stuff was on the new album and she was so uninformed and selfish 'back then' and that she didn't want to sing the old songs because they felt like five lifetimes ago and she couldn't identify with that person. And she said that while she loved Ray Of Light, she had it on her dresser afterward and just looked at it and thought, "we're never going to get fun, frothy, throwaway music from Madonna ever again, are we?"
