Well,

Solange was truly amazing. Those Knowles girls know how to do it right! She sounded fantastic (her falsettos were perfect), looked fantastic (she even had a wardrobe malfunction and did an entire song and choreo holding her strap up, laughed it off, did a shirt change and came back to slay more), was super energetic, her banter was great and she had a fantastic band. It was a very small venue so it all felt very personal, when she did little bits of choreography you felt the energy. She flipped those braids to the sky so well. She also looked so much more like Beyonce in person. I really noticed it in the way that they do a bit of a side-eye as they sing and of course her smile and laugh are much alike. She said she was going to bring back an old friend (T.O.N.Y.) and someone shouted "Beyonce?" and she joked that she was backstage with Blue.

If you guys get the change you should go! It wasn't too expensive ($35 and compared to a Beyonce ticket that's cheap). It was a great appetizer for Beyonce! And Solange really does stand on her own two feet as an artist.

I did not get the new album. My friend met her afterwards but I did not prep her on getting the album, so … sorry y'all.

I'm slightly pissed off now. Why couldn't she have just laid low until she was ready to release. She could have done the Superbowl without making it seem like she's about to release. She was going on tour, so it would have made sense regardless. All that talk about new music and a new album. Obviously plans changed, but still.

I understand Pepsi pushing her to use a new song for the commercial, so she could have released Grown Woman as a Pepsi promo single. Not everything has to be tied to an album. The same for SOTS and H&M. Now I don't even want these songs on the new album. I want new music.

I think she isn't saying anything because she doesn't want to talk and then revoke it. Imagine she said "NEW SINGLE AT THE SUPER BOWL!" and then decided to not do it, that would look bad. This way she can change it as much as she likes until she's 100% satisfied and then she can give us the clean and to the point announcement.
