ATRL is of the opinion that single success means nothing if your album sales aren't incredible. But in reality, the general public could not give two sh*ts about how many albums an artist sells. Most people have no idea which albums are selling well, but they all know which songs are currently popular.

And which pop acts are real album sellers anyways these days? I think they do fine enough. It's actually impressive that with their rocky road career, they were able to build with the single releases and do decently enough with their Reflection and now with 7/27.

With the 3xPlatinum hit Worth It propelling them to the astronomical number of 150k total copies sold of Reflection at the end of the era, I don't get all this shock across the board. I'm a bit disappointed because I thought they'd grow a bit but they stayed in the same range as Reflection in the US, that's fine. SPS will give it the edge in the end and hopefully AIMH and what comes next become hits too and will give the album a good longevity. I think it has more than a few chances to pass Reflection's total sales. Worldwide they're obviously doing way better. They sold close to nothing outside the US before this.

Here some of the biggest retailers don't have the album listed, neither in store or online and the stores that are supposed to have it, don't have it in stock. Only one big online retailer has it, but since it's weekend, it will take till Tuesday anyways to get it

Yay, my first review as a member! Gosh, so many months of watching everyone post, getting to post for myself is so surreal.

Anyways, my ratings for each song:

1. That's My Girl- 9/10: Great opener. Gotta say, I'm not such a fan of that sax part (I feel like it's a rip-off of "Worth It", which is a rip-off of "Talk Dirty"... all these rip-offs, lol), but that chorus is great!
2. Work from Home: 10/10: No words, just an amazing song.
3. The Life: 9/10: I really don't get the hate on here for this one. Yeah, the chorus is auto-tuned. but it's still a great song, because Tinashe ha songwriting skills
4. Write on Me: 9/10: Beautiful, you can tell Kygo produced this, and I freaking love him!
5. I Lied: 10/10: Huge banger in the making, seriously hope this is a single or somebody messed up.
6. All In My Head (Flex): 9/10: A little generic, but I'm a sucker for generic songs, lol.
7. Squeeze: 9/10: Another great Kygo masterpiece.
8. Gonna Get Better: 4/10: The first disappointment for me. Cringeworthy lyrics and not a catchy melody.
9. Scared of Happy: 7/10: Everything up until the chorus is great. And then... it gets disappointing.
10. Not That Kinda Girl: 10/10: Whoever said this is a love/hate song is right. I love it, but a lot of people here seem to hate it for some reason.
11. Dope: 10000/10: My personal favorite. I don't know what it is about this song, but it hit me way harder than I thought it would. I also see how it sounds like OOTW.
12. No Way: 8/10: It's... decent. It's seriously overrated here, probably because Queen Lauren loves it. As one of the three closers, I think it doesn't hold up against NTKG or 1000 Hands. It's still good though.
13. Big Bad Wolf: 10/10: Yeah, this one is GREAT. Seriously don't get how it didn't make the standard.
14. 1000 Hands: 10/10: Simply beautiful, and a much better way to end the album than No Way.

Overall: 88/100. Seriously an amazing album, with only one or two fillers. I'd rate it up there with 1989 and EMOTION.

Well the first one I went to yesterday morning said they had copies online and went I got there they didn't have any out on the shelf.

The second store I'm not sure about but I had placed a copy on hold and they placed it back on the floor this morning

I'm not even gonna go back out to look for a copy because it's too hot
I'll just order it online.

Hey guys, Harmo since 2012, new to ATRL. I thought it would be appropriate that my first post is on here since the first place I ever lurked was the BO$$ single thread.
Anyway I'm loving the album! All 5 girls really delivered and it's really cohesive. Only complaint is that it's too short. BBW and 1000 Hands could have definitely been added to the deluxe and Young & Beautiful could have been made a Japanese deluxe track (since they use bubblegum pop). But overall, a really solid pop album with its own identity. Lauren and Normani taking the reigns on most of the songs was such a blessing, especially on Dope and No Way.
Also, I wouldn't get too bent out of shape in regards to sales. These girls are streaming MONSTERS (Worth It hitting 1Bil in August will solidify this) and they got a massive top 5 single out of this era, topping two different radio formats. Flex will definitely be a summer hit once the ball gets rolling and the video is released.

For some reason this is underperforming slightly. I really don't understand it, this is pop perfection! 0 filler, just incredible music! It's a shame . I like Dangerous Woman, it has some bops, but nothing compared to this masterpiece. Definitely in the top 5 albums released this year.

I wanted to post this review here since I'm finally a part of ATRL!


That's My Girl (10/10) – an excellent pop song, one of Fifth Harmony's bests in my opinion. I think the production is FLAWLESS and the use of Camila sparingly like X Factor days was a great move. She's still present, but she's just adding to the song instead of taking main focus. Solid song.

Work from Home f/ Ty Dolla $ign (10/10) – Their best single to date. Everything about the song is a bop, especially Ty Dolla's verse. I love how it represents both sides of the album, the chill vibe but it's also a dance song. Top 5 of all of their songs released for me.

The Life (8/10) – Took me a while to get into this one, but as I started to appreciate the fun atmosphere of the song and like just how carefree it is, I started to love it. Not an album highlight, but it's definitely a cute song.

Write On Me (9/10) – A little odd with the vocal production on my first listen, but other than that the rest is flawless. A beautiful song, not as deep as they hype it up to be, but it's gorgeous. I love the rawness of the vocals and realize it's hard to produce vocals to sound raw, so I can deal. The video is cute, too!

I Lied (10/10) – HOLY ****. They served VOCALS!!!!!! Literally queens of vocals, I was actually searching for a wig after my first listen. I love that each girl got to show off their voices and it doesn't feel squished in. Definitely one of the more Purpose-esque songs, could totally be a single.

All In My Head (Flex) f/ Fetty Wap (10/10) – This is a perfect summer and transition single. It's gonna solidify their name with the feature and then they can hit us with That's My Girl. The song itself is a bop, and I didn't even realize they repeated the same verse twice until after a few listens. The synth sounds just like 679 by Fetty Wap, but I think it's perfect. Especially since he's on the song – I think this song is the perfect relaxing summer day song. Also, Fetty is seriously so infectious, I love his verses.

Squeeze (10/10) – This is my favorite Fifth Harmony song ever. The production, the lyrics, the vocals, everything is on point. 100%. I cried when I first listened to it, it's so intimate and beautiful. I think that Dinah handles the chorus amazingly and each girl really got to be vulnerable and open without having to put on that ******** most people hit us with when they give us a vulnerable song. I love love love love love love this song. Definitely gonna play the **** out of this.

Gonna Get Better (10/10) – Amazing! I love the way it transitions from the acoustic sound of Ally's opening chorus to the island-y beat, especially the way Camila and Normani give off those fake Island accents. Makes the song so much better. One of my top 5 on the album for sure.

Scared of Happy (10/10) – THEY. DID. THAT. Incredible song. I love the way the beat drops and the fact that Dinah gets yet another chorus is PERFECT. She handles them so well. I love what Stargate did with the song and I think that this could totally be a single in the near future. One of my favorites.

Not That Kinda Girl f/ Missy Elliott (10/10) – Probably my favorite feature at the moment. Missy's verse is so fun and such a classic Missy effort, too. I love the chorus, also. Explicit Harmony is my favorite thing ever – The production took a bit of getting used to for me, but now it's nothing to me. I can't wait to see this one live.

Dope (10/10) – Another one of my favorites. I think this song is completely flaw-free. The chorus is incredible, especially Lauren's vocals. The bridge is very Out of the Wood's to me, and Ally really serves on it. Jack, Julia, and Justin are literally a force to be reckoned. If 5H3 was mainly those three, I would have no problems whatsoever.

No Way (10/10) – A beautiful way to end the album. I think the song feels so long, even if it is only 2:56. I just love what Victoria and Tommy did with the girls on this song, and I can see why it didn't make Reflection. It's so mature and such a nice side to see from Fifth Harmony. I knew Lauren would serve vocals with this one, and she sure as hell did.

Big Bad Wolf (10/10) – This is like a sexy I'm in Love With a Monster and I'm obsessed. The verses with the elongated word endings and then Normani's prechorus literally left me shopping for wigs. Also, this song has more Caminah harmonies in the chorus, which is always a plus! Incredible song, should've made the standard in the place of Write On Me tbh.

1000 Hands (10/10) – One of my newest favorite 5H songs. It's like a more mature and stripped version of Who Are You. I don't have a lot to say about it, but it's just such a stunning song.

Overall, this is definitely miles better than Reflection. This has to be the album to shoot them to 100% star status. I love love love love love this album and love this group so much. Averaging out to a 97.5/100, this album is so solid. Love love love.

That's My Girl is my favorite song from this album and I think it's their best song yet. The chorus is so powerful I get scalped everytime slay
