But really it's so bad that BSE debuted at #2 on the billboard hot 100 in it's first week and then fell to #15 in it's second. That's a huge leap. The same thing happened to LWwY, but I think it had an even bigger leap. Why is that?

Because US radio does not support their singles, so the sales are very front loaded because only the teen girls (and gays ) are buying the singles. The only reason WMYB had longevity is because it was supported by radio.
