Her bump isn't that big and unless she purposely shows it can usually be covered up. In that dress she wore @ the VMAs when she didn't have her hands on her belly she didn't even look pregnant.

I think she looks pregnant in the pic with the drink in her hand, though. Those big pants are helping to hide it though, plus they're comfy.

The megastar singer, 30, is related to the Austrian musical giant who is revered as the world's greatest symphonic composer.

The amazing discovery may go some way to explain Beyonce's incredible musical talent.

The family tie was revealed in a recent book about the composer by Norman Lebrecht.

He said: "Beyonce has such presence, energy and concentration in what she does, much like Mahler did."

The unlikely pair, who are cousins four times removed, both share the status of iconic musicians of their time.

Beyonce, who announced she was pregnant at the MTV Awards, rose to fame with Destiny's Child and has gone on to win myriad awards.


Legend ... Gustav Mahler is related to the superstar
Mahler, whose music fell into obscurity after his death, has recently been remarked as more important than Beethoven.

A number of Mahler's close family moved to the US where one of his family members became linked to Beyonce's family who are from African-American and French creole descent.

Mahler was born a Jew but converted to catholicism to get the job of the director of the Vienna Court Opera.

Classical music boffin Norman added: "One of Mahler's main themes was multiculturalism.

"He asked the big questions and challenges and provoked a lot of hostility.

"Mahler would have liked Beyonce's music, he was interested in everything."


Norman, whose biography is called Fate, death and Alma, added: "When I found out he was related to a popstar I was really pleased it was Beyonce and not Madonna."
Beyonce, who was celebrating her 30th birthday yesterday, was last night unavailable for comment.

Her UK spokesman said: "Its very interesting to find out they are related.

"We will let Beyonce know and tell you what she says."
