Its more like a country version of the Hot 100. Considering they are listing a very pop song as the number 1 song gives it even less credibility. Now had it been Begin Again, I would would have no problem. You can rack up all the #1's you want on any given chart but what you do within the genre speaks volume's on that artist will be seen in the eye's of the legends,

The fact that they take airplay from other genres now? Ridiculous. Basically a song with more pop airplay, WANEGBT, will be #1 over a song that has more country airplay. It's ridiculous, I can't take the chart seriously anymore.

I don't take any of those charts seriously. They can be so manipulated these days from the radio deals and so on. The charts do not mean what they use to. I would rather have a artist not reach #1 and have the respect of their peer's and legends before them than having some #1 on a chart that will be changed in a few years

It should be up to #2 this week (as it is on Billboard's airplay chart), not #3. I've never been this hotheaded over something in the music industry before.

Blown Away isn't going to go #1 on Hot Country Songs unfortunately. For the most part, she won't have a #1 on that chart until her next lead single due to the new rules.
