BOMT 250,000
OIDIA 150,000
ITZ 100,000
GH 50,000
Circus 40,000
TSC 30,000
FF 30,000
Total: 650,000 |
Britney, Blackout and BJ are not even certified gold, so not even above 75K, 50K & 30K respectively. So, do you have an official source for that extra million you're adding to her total album sales in Mexico or it's just an extremely generous estimation made by yourself?

According to your own thread, BOMT is 2x Platinum + Gold (375,000) and OIDIA is 2x Platinum (300,000). Not sure where you're getting these new totals from and I honestly don't care.
"Britney Jean" was certified Gold last year (30K) as confirmed by the AMPROFON's official FB page and they also posted about it on their official site. I'm pretty sure there was a thread about it.
"Britney" was certified Platinum (150,000) after she toured the country in 2002 so I'm not sure why it isn't on the page but oh well.
An UKMix member who has been keeping track of her sales in all the major/smaller markets for many years now estimated 475K for BOMT, 360K for OIDIA, 205K for Britney, 180K for ITZ, 140K for GH:MP, and 35K for Blackout back in 2008 before Circus came out. I just adjusted them to the year 2015 and added Circus, TSC, FF, and Britney Jean.
Her ancient certified units actually add up to 1.105 million and I have her at 1.72 million so that's an "extra" 600K, not 1 million. But slay me with that math.
Thanks for the interest sweetie

From Amprofon's official page, I even embed the link. Guess you didn't read.
Well, 1.7 million - 600K = 1.1 million, duh. But YOU slay me with that math.
So it is:
BOMT 375,000
OIDIA 300,000
ITZ 100,000
GH 50,000
Circus 40,000
TSC 30,000
FF 30,000
BJ 30,000
Total: 955,000
Guess Britney's certification wasn't official since it's nowhere to be found at Amprofon's official pages. So 765K off generous estimations. That UKMIX user has no idea how Mexico's market works but slay those predictions. Specially those supposed 500K from BOMT. Since this is supposedly "the most accurate" receipts thread I thought those figures for each country were certifications. Disappointing.
Thanks for clarifying.

Sweetie, the certifications are official. They're posted by the AMPROFON's official FB page, which is linked on their official site.
SOURCE
Why'd you come into this thread posting different #s when your own thread states otherwise? I love how you also claimed BJ isn't certified Gold when you posted about it last year. Acting like you didn't know.
It's actually the following:
...Baby One More Time: 375,000
Oops!... I Did It Again: 300,000
Britney: 150,000
In The Zone: 100,000
Greatest Hits: My Prerogative: 50,000
Circus: 40,000
The Singles Collection: 30,000
Femme Fatale: 30,000
Britney Jean: 30,000
= 1,105,000 certified units. I have her at 1.7 million = an extra 600K, not 765K (or 1 million as you claimed earlier )
And BOMT was certified over 15 years ago, it's obviously sold more than 375K to date, and same goes for OIDIA, Britney, ITZ, etc. Circus was certified after 1 week so it's obviously eligible for a Platinum certification (as is FF), unless you believe they sold the same as Britney Jean. You lost all credibility the moment you came here with those #s. Anyway your failed trolling is very transparent, so I'm not going to bother anymore. I already proved myself. Have fun!

I guess your reading comprehension skills are flawed.
"Guess Britney's certification wasn't official since it's nowhere to be found at Amprofon's official pages."
Certification = singular. Wasn't = singular. I was clearly talking about the album Britney, not all of her certifications. Basic english. That platinum certification is nowhere to be found on Amprofon's official pages.
I even corrected BOMT's and OIDIA's numbers + added BJ in my latest post. It shows the exact same numbers as yours only I didn't add the unofficial Britney (album) platinum certification. No brainer situation.

The point still stands, whether it's 615K or 765K, you're inflating her sales. You clearly have no idea of how Mexican market works, just take a look at the best selling albums list. Not to mention these are based on shipments, info provided by the label but do you. All I asked was if you had an official source for those claimed sales, turns out they're just estimations made by yourself. That's all I needed to know, thanks.

You do know Britney's label used to leak certifications to us instead of paying for them because they were a broke indie label after BSB/N*SYNC faded, right? They have Britney eligible for 3x Platinum in Mexico
The fact that you're trying to argue over a Platinum certification when you can literally follow the album's chart positions and see it would be well over 150k

With these 3 good singles I hope she can manage the following
13M to go
Pretty girls 3MWW
Giorgio song 1M WW
3rd song 3MWW
Her last 4 albums + another GH and another remix album will probably do about 6-7M
Then singles from her last 4 eras could hopefully get it as close to 250M records ww as possible.
