Imagine if Diane Warren wins her first Oscar for that terrible song after losing with so many classics
Til It happens to Gaga will probably be nominated after the shameless Oscar campaign but hopefully it won't win.

She has written some classics though.
I think she only deserved to win with "I don't wanna miss a thing".
I thought she would finally win with that Cher song from Burlesque after buying the Golden Globe win but she didn't even get an Oscar nomination

Those songs definitely have some great instrumentals and catchy melodies, but from a lyrical standpoint, she is just so piss poor. She takes every godawful cliche you can think of, throws them against the wall, and then just sees what sticks

Diane Warren is a pretty terrible lyricist. She has one good song for every dozen bland, middle-of-the-road blocks of cheddar.
