Ya I don't necessarily think we should combine the sales, but it should always be a side note or something that is listed as equal importance to her solo career, because she was the lead singer after all.

DC & Beyoncé sales don't actually count, but it counts in impact. People don't like to include sales on ATRL because it'll make Beyonce's legacy better.

Cher, Tina Turner, Diana Ross, Michael, and Paul McCartney were ALL in groups but the general public adds the group sales & impact to the solo artist. The GP does and will continue to do with DC & Bey.

But like I said it is mostly ATRL people who want to discredit Beyoncé and her legacy. It truly makes no sense but ehh.

A soloist that was in a group, if the person is the main force behind them, they should take their sales and accolades, in my opinion.

Diana Ross is credited for the Supremes. Adam Lavine is credited for Maroon 5. Why not others?

When you're talking about her CAREER OVERALL those sales DO count, her career total. Reason why those stans don't like it because those numbers are GREATER than their faves. They use DC (Beyonce) only if it makes their argument look greater. But wanna dismiss her work w/ DC if it makes their argument weaker.

That's the annoying part.

If you say Dangerously in Love sold 11 million they say it's because she was in Destiny's Child (although how many breakout stars have really been successful after leaving their groups?)

If you say Beyonce sold X amount with DC they say that it wasn't her sales.

They need to pick one, but that will never happen. At least we know the truth and why they are reacting this way.
