She's probably still their most successful act overall beside Meghan Trainor.... and arguably Fifth Harmony. If she goes back to RCA, then Sony obviously want to give her one last push before they end relations with her. If this album flops, she might actually be placed on one of the smaller Sony groups where they'll let her do whatever she wants, and not push any finance behind her. Be exciting to see her work with Miley if that's true, and Miley is on RCA too so the facts may correlate. Doubt it's true, but we will see by the end of October if she has any news released.

The sale was part of Warner Philippines (the official seller of Avril's album here) shutting down their physical release here. Now, I have to order ha album from the US or was it just right timing since Empress is no longer signed and recording?

I'm not so sure if Warner's not the Philippine distributor of Avril albums but I'm sure that they will no longer release physical albums. The warehouse sale was crazy, P20 ($0.5) for Coldplay, Ed Sheeran, etc. Avril ha self titled album didn't drop that low though, maybe it's because she's actually part of Ivory Records. Anyway, the album is at 100php in all the record stores I've been to and there's a 300+php deluxe (?) with the DVD of the first 3 music videos.

I'm worried AL5 will pull a Joanne in Japan. Avril better milk them next era.
