I did a quick search and 2007 Wimbledon holds the record with only two seeds losing in the first round
This only goes back to the 32-seed system which started at 2001 Wimbledon.

Jana Cepelova is a giant killer though.
Took Serena out in 2014 Charleston, took Halep out last year at Wimbledon, and now today looks likely.

Yeah she looks quite good apart from the serve but Mugu hit soo many errors too

The ball bounced too low for Mugu's strike zone. A shorter player is going to win this year. I think Serena's height is at an advantage.
