Magazine covers, perfumes, sitting front row at Paris Fashion Week and voicing animated films is not what people will remember her for. She took 2 years off to do all that stuff, celebrate her cousins' birthdays, watch Majesty grow up, but now she's returned to music so her focus should be on that. It's not like somebody forced her to release new music, she wanted to, so she should show people that she cares for it.

Fashion is half the reason Rihanna is viewed as an icon today. If you can't embrace that then oh well

You're lying to yourself if you really think female artists are relevant 10, 20+ years into their career solely because of their music. No they are relevant because they have built sucessful brands and crossed over into other fields.

And again rihanna did not sit on her ass during those two years doing nothing. She was working!

My biggest issue with this era is that she isn't doing something else. There's absolutely zero interaction between Rihanna and fan. It's not like she's doing something else. I mean I understand her birthday and all but there's also multiple weeks where she didn't do nothing and it's not like she's out promoting HOME. Jim Parsons did a full weekend of press junket and had one TV show interview+ radio show in the UK. Just pointing that's her biggest market and she's acting like it's ****ing Iceland and they aren't the source of 60% of her income


I hope this ******** of FFS not being the lead single is true and that she'll actually put effort or interact or do something with the real one. She's a social media powerhouse like she can do so much without leaving her room And she has a legion of talented fans that could come up with per example covers and such.

Everyone knows I'm all for the brand and I buy every single magazine she covers, perfumes, clothings, merch etc etc but let's go back on focusing on the music and interacting with fans that also aren't "elite" Navih.

I think Only One for Kanye's album is basically what FourFiveSeconds is for R8 and "All Day" for K7 is what R8's real lead single will be for Rih's album.
I think Rihanna released FFS first to release a song from R8 before HOME's lead, to avoid any confusions, cause the GP would've considered TTS R8's lead single if it came out first, I think. FFS literally is a first glimpse at R8.

And I changed my mind regarding R8/HOME, I think Rih will release R8's lead in April and the album shortly after (in April too) or early May at the latest. March will likely be all about HOME (movie + TTS).

Tbh everyone is over reacting and just needs to bring it down a notch. I know the confusion is leading to many peoples frustration but to act as if rihanna is lazy and doesn't do a damn thing is ridiculous. And quite rude imo (we've seen what happens to her when she over works herself. She's human not a robot)

She didn't get to where she is by doing nothing, i think she knows what she's doing with her career. Chill out the album didn't even drop and some of you are acting like she gave up on everything. Just wait and see, support or don't support.

A simple call to Ryan saying "Hey here's my single FFS. I'm still working on ny album so I can't give you details but it's coming by this Summer and I'm also curating an album for HOME, an animated movie..." something simple.

Also INTERACTING with us something she use to do plenty. I mean that doesn't require anything beside a phone and bed.
