ACS will be good... For TWO seasons and two seasons only.
Only watching it because of Sarah (also the best thing about Hotel). Ryan Murphy is still over, a loser with NO career and NO talent.

The finale was sorta messy, and I feel like the entire storyline of the show made no sense as no one really died

They should have answered all the questions in tonight's episode. (Lowe Family, gathering of the spirits, Billie Dean Howard/Devils Night 1)
The actual finale should have been focused on Liz/Iris, Sally etc because we feel more connected to this characters and they could have had more time and creativity to write something really special for them. It could have pulled at our heart strings tbqh

They cut one episode because the ratings WERE AWFUL because the show has been awful since episode 8. Ryan Murphy is over, I repeat: Ryan Murphy is OVER.
Scream Queens was canceled as well with awful ratings AND reviews. He's over.

We're not that blessed.
He would probably let Gaga write a finale if she asked.

The truth is, Ryan is great at setting things up. Sometimes it gets dodgy in the middle, sometimes it doesn't, but he really can create a character & a world, and it's always fresh and amazing no matter what. And every year, he gives me (and the rest of y'all, apparently) hope, and you think, "Wow, maybe this one will be different", and then it's not.
I don't even hate this finale. I'm in the minority that doesn't mind it as much. I'm just dragging y'all for bitching about it so much when y'all were mad at me for bitching all season.

This is me. He is great at setting up worlds and making them beautiful to look at. His casting is always on point (with the exception of Lea Michelle and Abigail Breslin), so you have good acting to tolerate what can become messy writing. Truth be told, I can go back and watch most of his shows and be okay, because I enjoy the visuals and the acting. If only the writing was on point.

We are all good man, I'm just being completely honest and tired of ********, it's not just directed to you.
I agree with all your points 100% though, that's mainly why I return because of the characters he creates and the storylines created. I know that everything turns to **** halfway through, that's honestly why I'm loving Hotel since it consistently got better as the season progresses.
But after Scream Queens, Coven, and Freak Show, I don't expect anything from the finales and just let them be their own entity (like an epilogue). That's why I'm not really disappointed with it. It wasn't my ideal finale, but it did what it needed to and actually closed a lot of plot holes.

Iris and her vegetarian cult actually framed OJ because he wasn't getting enough fiber like Donovan.

I'd rather AHS didn't go into politics. I don't see how Ryan could add real horror to it and political shows generally use the same tropes and plot devices.

I mean politics have plenty of fear involved with it. Its how Fox News manipulates their viewers feeding them fear. The militia in Oregon is acting on fear. People fight gun control based on fear. Terrorism which is completely politic is based on fear so why not use what people are the most scared of nowadays and terrify people.
I mean people want a realistic season. Politics could be the best

As mentioned, American Horror Story finales are usually steeped in sentiment, focusing more on closure than craziness. Weepy over creepy. It's up to the season that came before it though to make us care about these characters. So that we're invested in such a slushy shut down. Hotel, I'm afraid, was the worst at this so far as there was very little to truly care about here. Outside of Liz and her opportunity to shine in success and acceptance.

When they showed the older Scarlett sitting down from a distance, I thought it was Emma Roberts at first
