It is like Beyonce did it because she had been around for a long time and people had heard of her. Bruno is getting dragged by some because he was an unknown to them, he is fairly new as an artist and many older people who don't follow to Top 40 music anymore won't have heard of him.

She'll be 34 by then . Maybe 5-6 years is enough. She'll have 7 LP's to choose from.

Do you guys actually think Taylor doing the super bowl would be a good idea?
In terms of sports fanatics, those that like Taylor are in the minority (including myself). No doubt that this is the same for Bruno but vocally live he's one of the best out there so he got a positive reception.
If Taylor was to do it in the near future and wasn't flawless vocally, the theatrics wouldn't save her. The super bowl would only do her more harm than good, can't see it happening anyway.

This exactly.

The Times gave her 4/5 stars.

Swift, despite losing out at the Grammy's, is clearly at the top of her game and could well be at the pinnacle of her fame, which is always an intoxicating thing to witness. Her time is now.

4/5 stars too. Read the rest here.

That's why she should wait for a decade. She will have more fans and her existing fans would be in more positions of power in the media.
That's how the Rolling Stones became acclaimed in the UK. The establishment/media dragged them and hated Mick Jagger. The Stones just kept on going and eventually their fans became the ones who were running the media. Now Mick Jagger is knighted and the UK Press worship the Rolling Stones. You would never know that the older generation (to the Stones) hated them. Similar happened to them in the US. they were mocked for their performances and appearances by the US media. Even by the late 70s they were regarded by some as musically irrelevent and past it. They just kept on and now all the music critics worship them and pretend that was always the case.
Plus in a decade 1D will be long gone and forgotten so the Directioners won't be hating on Taylor anymore, as they'll be embarrassed to even have supported them.

Tbh, I find Her bombasts to be pretty cheesy and over-done. Plus She still has time to grow as an artist and performer.
Speaking of acclaims from mainstream media and public, they are 99% of the time goes with how they perceived an artist, instead of judging on the actual music.
The Lord is a Platinum Underdog. And if you leave the media focus on the peripheral stuffs, She's actually a Cult Artist.

Hi! I've been visiting this base as a guest during one year, so I'm so happy that finally I was able to register here.
My name is Florencia, I'm 23, I'm from Argentina and I love Taylor, of course.
My favourite songs from each album are Cold as You, Breathe, The Other Side of the Door, Dear John, Last Kiss, If this was a movie, Treacherous, All Too Well and Come Back... Be here.
I should warn you that english is not my first language, so please, be patient with my mistakes!
