And lols, the only reason 20/20 Experience even had it's success was because the anticipation due to his LONG ass break. If he came back again now his era would do decent at absolute best.
The way he released Part 2 just 6 months later, and the entire public was done, the singles all bombed, and even "Not a Bad Thing" which got spammed to #1 on Pop Radio is the worst-selling Pop Radio #1 in almost 10 years.
His hype was GONE. Meanwhile, Confessions re-release 6 months later spawned a #1 hit + made the album sell millions more, not barely 1 million.
They said Mariah would be on this season of Empire. It's the 7th episode and we haven't got a preview or nothing.
But I have a feeling she'll show up looking a bloated mess with some tacky scene, then get dragged on Instagram for the week. So it might be a blessing to put her in once the show has died.
