thanks bb I think I'm going to fall out of the top 3 this week though considering I haven't been writing real long articles

The controversy aspect is part of the formula I think. You had quite a bit this week too and Kelly cross promoted you. I would be surprised if you aren't top 3.

106&PARK

Earlier today, Danity Kane visited 106&Park mainly to talk about their new EP, but they also performed "Lemonade" later on in the show. The ratings increased by a cute 6% compared to the average of the season, and the girls were back on track with getting promotion done in the Urban market now that they've re-established themselves for the moment on Pop markets. Overall, the trio made the crowd laugh lots and entertained many viewers at home just speaking what's on their mind like they always do. In their performance of "Lemonade", they did the regular routine, except they had a random boy from the crowd rap Tyga's verse and got more interactive with the crowd. The only times they weren't in the crowd much was during the first half of the song - up until Shannon's second time singing her pre-chorus. They wore some nice white attire, all looking absolutely amazing. It was just a great way to kick off a Saturday morning on the BET Network. Here's how the interview went down though.
Host: Ladies and gentlemen, make some noise for Danity Kane! [...] Hi ladies, how's it going?
Dawn: Good.
Aubrey: It's going great.
Shannon: ****, I feel like I just got raped by the audience. Wow, they're hyped today!
Host: So first off - that BET Awards performance. Yes, yes, yes. That was fire girls!
Danity Kane: Thank you!
Host: I mean y'all are back, like BACK this time. Right?
Aubrey: Yes, we're officially, OFFICIALLY back this time.
Host: And your EP drops tomorrow - 'DK3' - what can we expect hearing this extended play of yours?
Dawn: Well "Lemonade" is gonna be on it, which by the way, y'all should buy it on iTunes - now would be a good time. And we got two other great, great songs called "Rhythm of Love" and "Rage". It's got such a live sound, compared to what we used to before. Our first two albums were done like 95% electronically, like the instruments were never recorded live - you know?
Host: And I think we actually got the two tracks already, I mean is it on iTunes?
Shannon: No, not yet.
Dawn: Nah we just wanted to give our fans a taste of the whole package because they've waited so long.
Host: So basically, we pretty much have the whole EP?
Aubrey: Yeah.
Host: That's interesting - why wouldn't you keep the stuff under wraps though, like surprise us?
Dawn: Well our fans have been waiting just about the longest time, like what, six years to hear some new music so we thought they deserved it.
Shannon: Although, although we did release a single last year when Aundrea was with us and we were four, but now it's like the real deal.
Host: Speaking of Aundrea - how is she doing? I heard she's married!
Shannon: She's getting married, but right now she's engaged. She's doing great and we're gonna see her next week with Day26 on our MTV Takeover.
Aubrey: Y'all hear that - MTV next week - set y'alls DVRs!
Host: Girl, a damn mess. Oh WAIT. ****. SPEAKING of the MTV Takeover and Aundrea - WHAT is all this **** with Wanita going on?
Dawn: Aubrey... Don't...
Aubrey: Well, that's very interesting of you to ask. See, WANITA over here somehow got the files to our 2013 album with Aundrea. I personally think that's ******** 'cause her single only sold like... six copies but whatever. ANYWAYS, it looks like now she's coming to our little Day26 and Aundrea reunion. I mean - like I said, I just think she's thirsty for some promotion.
Shannon: She might just need a drink. By the way, "Lemonade" is out on iTunes.
Host: Okay, I think Y'ALL are thirsting now! So what's the status with Puff - have you girls chatted, or...?
Dawn: No, right now we're just doing our thing with Revolution - they're like the best label, I mean they're perfectly made for us. I mean, if one day he wants to go for lunch or something like that I'm here for it - I don't know if they are though.
Shannon: Yeah, I'd go.
Aubrey: Hmmm... this one's tough but you know Puff did a lot for us, so it's like 'why not?'.
Host: So talk to me about The Stereotypes. What's a typical day in the studio with DK and them working on the new EP?
Shannon: Well, we always, ALWAYS bring food with us. Like we'll order and put 'em in the fridge and cook it later.
Aubrey: I know that sounds crazy, lemme explain though. Basically, we don't take many breaks when we're in the studio. Once we're laying down vocals, we just keep going 'cause we're in that zone, you know? And we keep going, and going, and going until our throats are literally the Sahara Desert.
Dawn: And then we'll just talk about whatever, I mean we're not coworkers but we're really good friends. We've really found this home with them, and we've crafted this EP together, and just working with them is amazing. The party never stops.
Host: When was the last time you talked?
Dawn: Yesterday actually, they just texted saying how great our NBC Independence Day set was and that this EP could really do well. And um... yeah, just great talk really.
Host: So the chart comes out tomorrow - what do you think is gonna happen?
Dawn: We were confident about like a Top Five about or something... but there's a lot more competition that's going IN this week. Our IN week is next week so we're kinda looking at maybe barely scraping the Top Ten. But our label just said as long as we can really climb next week and walk out this week with like 350.000 copies sold or something - it's all great.
Host: Which artists do you see really hitting the top tier?
Aubrey: Definitely "Gunshots" by Zendaya and Taylor, I mean it should definitely hit #1.
Shannon: Their video was amazing!
Aubrey: And probably Britney, 'cause she's always on the run and she's just the 'Go! Go! Go!' kinda girl. I don't know about the third though - I haven't been paying much close attention to the promo this week, we've just been getting ready for so much.
Dawn: All I know is that Dolly bitch, my Jesus she needs to exit to a retirement home.
Host: And it turns out - a LOT of new albums are coming out next week. How do you think you'll hold up?
Aubrey: We've got some good things coming up next week, so I think we'll hold up good. I mean I'm not sure if I see us hitting #1 - there's just so many big, big names releasing and coming as a trio-girl group-comeback EP, we're not getting our hopes up for #1. Although we're still gonna give it 110%.
Host: Alright, well we'll let you go for now. As the ladies have mentioned... numerous times, "Lemonade" featuring Tyga is out now on iTunes but if y'all wait tomorrow you can get their whole EP, 'DK3'. Make sure ya get a copy! Bye huns - it was great chatting with y'all.
Danity Kane: Bye!

A brand new remix of Taylor Swift and Zendaya's single 'Gunshots' was released to iTunes and Urban radio today featuring American rapper Angel Haze. The remix of the song is now the second remix officially as Swift was added onto a new version of the song earlier this week. We were told that the girls would not be promoting the version with Haze and that it was just something that two girls wanted to do. The song was sent to the urban radio though in hopes it would fuel the song's life on the format (it marks the first single for either three ladies to chart on the format). Haze's addition to the song was in talks for awhile both Taylor and Zendaya discussing who they thought would be great for a remix version of the song. The two girls talked in an interview with a radio station discussing their decision of choose Angel Haze for the song. "The song is very powerful, you know when you have really powerful song you need a powerful rapper who really brings the feeling of the song to the table. Both Taylor and I are picky about who features on ours songs so we discussed rappers for two days. We considered rappers like Childish Gambino, Chance The Rapper, and plenty of other talented rappers. But I remember Taylor was going through my phone and I saw Angel Haze's album 'Dirty Gold'. Taylor listened to it. I had listened to the album plenty but I wasn't sure if Taylor would want her on the track. She listened to Black Dhalia and she was like "I want her. I want her on the track. We have to get her on it, Zendaya". So that's how it happened we called up Angel I believe that night or the one after and we talked for awhile about the song, what it meant to us and all that and she flew out from New York to Los Angeles and she recorded her verses while we were in there. She was so nice to us too. She wrote like four verses for us, two of them freestyles, and she let us choose. We chose one of the freestyles I believe. She's just pure raw talent and it's a real honor for both of us to get her on this song." Taylor then spoke, "The thing is about Angel… when she raps you listen. It's pure power when she raps. She has a way of connecting with you when she does her thing. her lyricism her flow, it's just raw. That's when I first heard her album I was like "Man this girl is just sick". So yeah she was definitely a no brainer for me once I'd listened to some of her stuff." The remix of 'Gunshots' featuring Angel Haze is on iTunes now. The remix of the song has climbed into the top ten on iTunes USA and is inching towards the top five.

Britney Spears on The View
Highlights of the interview:
-Hello Britney thank you for stopping by
Brit: Well thank you for having me.
-Now I wanna talk about it, you haven't talked about it yet.. it's been spreading like wildfire in the media. The Westboro Baptist Church made a personal attack on your home because they say that you are a quote "*** enabler" and a "satanist". How do you respond to an attack like this?
Brit: I was sad when you know I found out what they did or tried to do but if I had to say anything to them I would just say grow up, seriously. These people can't open the two eyes God gave them to see the world for what it really is. All love is the same and it's sad that they wanna hurt me for promoting that idea, it's sad how delusional some people are.
-Are you filing charges for the damages made on your home?
Brit: Yes, definitely. I also hired more security to travel with me just in case.
-Last night you and Rihanna hosted an MTV special party for the 4th Of July and it was definitely a fun party, no tell me what do you typically do to celebrate 4th Of July?
Brit: Usually I will just have a pool party at my house with my closest friends and family and I'll have my mom and dad cook the barbecue because I can't cook *giggles*
-You can do it all but you can't cook?
Brit: I can cook I'm just not that good at it *giggles* my mom and pap are good though so I just let them do it.
-Your album comes out July 13th and your MTV documentary will be airing one week from today, are you excited that it's all happening so soon?
Brit: Yeah definitely, I can't wait for my fans to get everything.
-How often do you get to see your kids?
Brit: They stay with me Monday to Thursday afternoon and Kevin gets them Thursday afternoon till Monday morning.
-Gimme Your Best is doing really well and that rolling stone cover is selling like hot cakes, did you expect such a positive reaction with all of this?
Brit: Well I did get some backlash having my house attacked and all but I mean I gave it my best and I was hoping to get a positive reaction so I'm happy I got one.
----------
Britney Spears performed to end The View with a ballad version of Gimme Your Best.
Spears sat on a pillow which was held into the air by two cables as smoke and fire shot up from the stage. Spears sang "Gimme Your Best" fully live, giving it her all vocal-wise. Britney added in a lot of high notes and towards the end of the performance, she began to swing on the pillow. To end the performance, she flipped off the pillow 30 feet above the stage below and was caught by male dancers. She kissed one as smoke surrounded the stage and the performance was over.

Azealia on Alan Carr

On Alan Carr: Chatty Man today, Azealia Banks appeared on the late night UK talk show to promote her new upcoming album along with her lead single off of Reborn, Vibes. The promotion of Azealia's appearance on Alan Carr has been top notch and has been promoted hourly on multiple tv channels throughout the week. Along with the given interview, Azealia also gave a chill performance of her song, Vibes.
For Azealia's performance of her song, Vibes, she wore a long flowing gray gown that was given a smoky texture and aesthetic. with what seemed to be white fox hair on the ends of the gown touched up with dust, Azealia looked like a gray queen with a foot tall tangled beehive toppled on top of Azealia's head with wires and dust stuck in the tangled up-do. The smokey gown was a transparent look and underneath one could see undergarments Azealia was wearing. Black and the styling of which a 1940s pinup girl would wear. As an organ played banged on the keys, Azealia did a turn on a rotating stage piece, keeping the same pose and face throughout the turn. As the wheel stopped, the music did and all that could be heard were the cheers from the audience and Azealia's heels clacking down towards the front of the stage. Grabbing the mic, Azealia began singing Vibes as the beat began in an on and off pattern. After the middle of the first verse, smoke covered the stage and dancers with wicked looks in their eyes began to crawl around the stage, resembling the undead. After Azealia's chilling performance of Vibes that obviously received a grand applause, Banks sat down with Mr. Carr to talk about the album and future plans. Highlights from the interview are below:
Q: Nice to have you Azealia! You did a killer performance up there. The audience loved it! What was it like to record such a demanding song, vocally?
A: Great to be here and thank you! I'm glad the audience liked it and oh it was difficult. See, I love to sing but I usually do rap and I thought hey why not try and do this? So I did and I love how it turned out. Me and Gold Panda put a lot of effort into Vibes and it has surely paid off with its success on iTunes.
Q: It sure has paid off! What was it like recording the remix with Mike Will Made It?
A: It was great recording with him. He's such an amazing and talented man. I am happy with how it all turned out. It was stepping out of my norm because I was in the midst of promoting this song while I recording with him so I wasn't in the whole hip hop swing yet, you know?
- Q: You and Jay Leno had issues live on air. Tell us more about that for those who don't know.
A: Yes we did have issues and did isn't an accurate word because we DO have issues. What happened is that he was continuously harassing me backstage and I definitely wasn't appreciating it. You don't treat a woman like a sex toy. My body IS a temple and you WILL treat it that way. The unprofessionalism from him was astounding, in my opinion. I am just happy I was served justice and that pig is no longer on air.
Q: We are happy too! We hope you know that everyone here at Chatty Man is team Azealia.
A: I'm happy that you guys are. I mean come on it's 2014 and women are still treated like rubbish? Geez Louise.
- Q: Thanks for coming here Azealia Banks! That's all the time we have! Be sure to buy Vibes on iTunes and to pick up Azealia's latest album Reborn which drops tonight at midnight! See you next time!

Zendaya and Taylor perform on NBA All-Stars Game
Zendaya stopped by NBA All-Stars Game earlier today to perform her latest release "Gunshots", which features Taylor Swift, who also appeared on the stage alongside with Zendaya to perform their collaborative single together. Their performance was televised and it was watched by about six million people on TV, and plus, let's not forget that huge audience at Nokia Threatre venue where the game was held. Their performance started off by all the lights going off as Zendaya walked on the stage. Although people who were watching her weren't able to see her as clear as possible, but they were really able to hear Zendaya walking on the stage as she loudly walked in those high Louboutin heels. Once she stopped somewhere in the middle of stage, she waited for a couple of seconds, took a deep breath and started singing couple of lines in acapella, completely in acapella, without anyone helping her out with the instrumental or anything. Then, Taylor walked on the stage as she started playing guitar that she was holding while she was still walking towards Zendaya, as Zendaya was singing the first verse. Once Taylor walked to the microphone stand, the chorus started and it was time for Taylor to sing. She sang her lines just perfectly, she showed off her beautiful voice, and it was just a nice performance as both of the girls mostly focused on their voices and their vocal abilities more than they focused on dancing or doing something crazy and effectful on stage. This performance was definitely a highlight of that game, because a lot of music websites and blogs talked about how simply effectful this performance was. For example, Popjustice wrote: "I personally admire when these girls perform "Gunshots" in more stripped down way, because then we can really focus on their voices without being distracted too much by their dancing or that whole back-up dancers group. And besides, even though we enjoy every single performance these girls do, we definitely cherish these kind of performances, because then we can listen to those really meaninful and relatable lyrics." After this performance, both girls just hugged each other, blew some kisses for the audience, hugged each other, thanked the audience for their ability to stay calm during their performances, and just walked off the stage right after.

Britney Spears was the Guest Host + Performer of SNL tonight. Spears was involved in a grand majority of the skits and kept the audience laughing. Spears was involved in a skit which made fun of the Westboro Baptist Church's idiocy as well as a skit on Keeping Up With The Kardashians. Spears also was featured in a skit making fun of her past self, she shaved her head and attacked a car with an umbrella only to be confused as to why she had done it afterwards. Spears also did a "re-make" of The Simple Life with guest star Paris Hilton as a 15 minute skit, providing lots of life and a hot reunion between the two party legends. Britney also did a skit as Maleficent and other disney villains, poking fun at the new ending which makes Maleficent a hero rather than a villain. Other skits involved rapping, a drunk teenage Spears on "Prom Night", and a time travel machine.
------------
Pictures of Britney Spears aired to end commercial breaks throughout the SNL special.

Britney Spears also took to the stage twice to perform as the performer of the night.
The first performance involved Spears wearing a long white dress while playing the piano and singing a ballad version of Deranged. Smoke surrounded the stage as the screen in the background featured nasty magazine covers about Britney which got "ripped off" and revealed the truth. Spears sat on the piano for the grand majority of the performance, playing it while giving Deranged her best vocals, hitting very high notes. Spears got up for the final chorus of the performance and walked through the smoke and fire which shot out of the stage while singing Deranged. The song ended as Spears said "Thank You" and the screen faded to black.
After the commercial break, Spears performed once more to end off the night.

Britney performed an up-beat version of Gimme Your Best with a lot of dance breaks to end off the night. Spears started the first chorus with her ring of fire all by herself, giving it her all center stage. As the chorus ended, smoke surrounded the stage and Spears' ladies came to the stage. The ladies danced in a triangle formation with Spears at the peak of the triangle. They shaker their bodies on the ground and touched each other as water rained down on them. Male dancers then came to the stage in an attempt to "secure" the ladies but the ladies were not having it, the 2nd chorus featured all the girls including Britney kicking and throwing the men into the audience. Spears shouted "sometimes, none of them are good enough.. wooh!" The girls surrounded her in a circle formation but she put her hands to the side of her body as they fell down like dominoes. Spears performed the ending of the song by herself, twirling and turning. She did a leg kick and ended the song with a full split as smoke surrounded the stage and SNL faded to black.

Brit: Oh gosh hum well I must say I am friends with two of the most talented ladies in the industry: Kelly and Mariah.. and they have been helping me improve especially with my higher register. I also have a vocal coach I go to so yeah that's how I'm improving, uhm a broadway rendition? Uh okay.... "You only got tonight

Azealia on Jonathon Ross

Appearing on Jonathon Ross tonight to do an interview and performance, Azealia Banks. With hot new release Vibes storming up the charts, Azealia Banks has made a pitstop in the UK to promote this hot new trance track to the public. With over a million viewers watching, Azealia Banks made sure to give this performance on Jonathon Ross her all as she never wants to let down her fans during a performance. Inside the interview, juicy details on the Jay Leno situation and album release info was all revealed with the television audience in obvious shock.
Wearing Valentino, her designer of choice, Azealia took the stage for the performance on Jonathon Ross' late night talk show. Wearing a black catsuit made up of zippers and complete with a facemask that had zippers open only for the eyes and mouth, Azealia looked as wicked as ever. Painted to perfection, the makeup artist behind Azealia had obviously put in work for Azealia's look tonight. With eye makeup in the shade of smokey grays and lips the color of blood, you wouldn't be able to tell Azealia from a supermodel walking the latest couture runway. With her head down at the start, as the synth and bass mixed at the begining, Azealia's hands began to rise as her head lifted and shoulders rolled back. Letting out the first note, the whole crowd went wild. Throughout the performance, Azealia unzipped off parts of the outfits and by the end of the performance, all Azealia was wearing was enough of the zipper suit to cover her breasts, ass, and cooch. With the claps from the audience, Azealia then went to do an interview after a quick commercial break. Highlights of the interview:
Q: Great performance Azealia! I mean, when are your performances not great? So right now you have a number one single out called Vibes. Is this about clubbing?
A: Thank you! And yes I do have a single out called Vibes, go buy it and is it about clubbing? Oh no well see Vibes is about really whatever you want Vibes to be about. It's purely about life and enjoying it. It's about doing whatever you want and enjoying it. It truly can fit anything you want it to be so yes, I guess it could be about clubbing if you wanted it to be, you know?
Q: So the song is about whatever I want it to be about?
A: Oh of course! See I wanted to make a song that anyone could relate to and I think this is one.
- Q: So you and Jay Leno had issues live on tv, for the whole entire television audience to see. What was up with that?
A: What was up with that was he is trash and he tried to feel on me when I was not here for it. I was there to promote my song while he was there to hit on a girl half his age. I mean I kind of feel bad for him though. He can't help that no one wants to get his little dick.
*audience laughs along with Ross*
- Q: Amazing to have you here Azealia. Everyone at home go buy her latest number one, Vibes on iTunes and her new album Reborn will be released tonight. Goodnight everyone!
