I knew it was overrated but holy ****. A all-time top tier reality TV season does not have that horrendously edited post-merge Cagayan had.

Yes it is that good. Who the **** cares about editing, the GP doesn't pay attention to that and neither did I before I discovered this thread. Cagayan had something memorable happen in every episode and not one cast member went to waste.
