I think it'll be official soon but Sanders will have won more states and delegates yesterday evening/this morning. So he can actually claim victory and not just a moral one . He still missed 538 projected delegate targets though

edit: Oh yeah Jeb Bush endorses Sen. Cruz

So it looks like Hillary got around 51 delegates and Bernie got about 58 yesterday. He got a whopping 6 more delegates than her. Is it really a win when he's so far behind?

I really hope a member of one of the Muslim communities in Minnesota, etc. that Cruz name checked for "constant policing" on CBS this morning have something to say about it to a national press outlet. I really do.

I don't think there's anyone that's run in recent memory I find more vile and duplicitous than Ted Cruz. Maybe Pat Buchanan back in the 90s but even that's a stretch.

Are those regular or "shadow" super delegates? I don't like Bernie, but the super delegate thing on the Democratic side is very unfair...Bernie would be alot closer to Hillary if super delegates weren't in play.

If I were Ted Cruz, I wouldn't want that endorsement.

Regular delegates. According to projections he should have won Arizona by 10 points (actually slightly more now since he underperformed in many of the previous states). However he was supposed to also win UT and ID by about 20 points each and he totally blew that out of the water. Unfortunately for him he's overperforming in states without many delegates. I don't like the superdelegate thing either (hence why I never talk about it) but it's necessary as long as the democratic side doesn't have winner take all states because it would be super hard to get to 2383 without it

Yeah Ted Cruz wouldn't want it but I guess anything helps to stop Trump

I watched that interview just now on "CBS This Morning"...while I despise Ted Cruz with a passion, those Minnesota "mostly Somalian" Muslims need to be monitored. A few have became radicalized and went back to Somalia to become terrorists...

I mean you really wouldn't want a Brussels style attack at the airport or the Mall Of America in Minneapolis, Minnesota. There have been plots to at least target that mall before by terrorists as it is the largest mall in the US (if not the world)...it's the ultimate terrorist symbol of Americana.

Hillary got really lucky Party Affiliation Switch deadline for NY was back in Oct & New Voter deadline is this Friday.

Also being a closed Primary she really should be able to end this primary that night.

Even if it were same day registration, she would never lose that state. It's to her what VT is to Sanders. Also its way too nonwhite for him to even make a dent in her lead. If she doesn't win by 20 points it would be very disappointing

Yeah I wasn't worried about her losing but more being able to put an effective end to the primaries.

A win that is under 10 points leaves the door for some ****ery in CA, and you just know the Little Bernsters would pull out every trick in the book to win there by a big margin if it could get him close in the overall pledged delegates.

Weaver was downright delusional.

I mean technically there's a chance in Washington. But highly unlikely she wins there. As long as she doesn't get killed ID/UT style that's good for her

She has a chance in Hawaii too (just from looking at @michael's demographics report on the state). She can actually pull off the upset or keep it close, which is good for her

Her best chance at breaking this streak comes in Wisconsin tbh. I think she narrowly loses it (5 points or less) but that's a win for her

Bernie supporters seem to forget that Hillary is winning by 300 PLEDGED DELEGATES. That's before the super delegates are even needed. Hillary only needs to win 34% of the remaining delegates and that would guarantee her the nomination. I think it's awful that Bernie is still raising all of this money that'll eventually be slipped into his pocket. So many of my friends have donated to him and he still continues to fall further behind, running out of delegates (literally).
