It's the stan inside people that create the wildest expectations. e.g. Looking at the demand, mathematically speaking 280 million dollar and only second to Madonna would be possible.
Even when it's the right choice to take a Summer break after asking her team to gave up the Summer of 2014 for the slayage in NA. I can see the kids/families of her team waiting for so long to have a Summer vacation.
For Katy it's time to live, take care of herself, get some life experiences and inspiration.

TD release schedule would be a rush, even faster than PRISM that she felt like releasing it because she didn't want to keep it from us any longer. There is the risk of a blond pop girl moving her release dates to force Katy into a duel, we can't afford.
The "alternative" is releasing early 2017. The first months of a year is when people are broke because of the holidays' bills.
