Pretty sure you're overestimating Beyonce. If she sticks with her R&B leaning songs pop radio will ignore her again. Besides, if Stay becomes a hit it'll take time. You can't expect a ballad to take off with +300 spins from the start. If I recall correctly even SLY didn't exactly take off until she performed it and it went #1. We're basically waiting out a month for the Grammy performance before this song even becomes a factor.

No surprise it's not charting high yet, it has hardly even impacted. The Grammys are pretty much essential to its chart run.

Pour It Up is doing enough to fill the void for now.
