Guys, how did you first find out of Demi?
I first find out Demi when I saw Camp Rock on Disney. It was awkward because you know they(her mother and the owner of the camp) were talking about her being so good in singing and I was like "this would be another popstar/superstar wanna be with no talent." Then, she sang This Is Me in the Piano and I was like, "WOOOOOOOOW This is girl has real talent!!!" And then she sang This Is Me at the final jam which totally blew me off. There, I was just a fan. But then I tried searching for her live performances and stuff and I became a stan.
The song This Is Me also became like an anthem to me since I was aiming something that time and I keep saying "no more hiding who I wanna be, this is me." XDDD
I was 15 that time, almost 4 years ago since I'm turning 19 this year

If she maintained her green updates, she could have been pretty stable in the higher 40s! Oh well, it's night time! Hopefully she will gain some steam tomorrow!
Can't wait for the mainstream pop radio adds!!!

Oh, now I get it, thanks for clearing it up.
I hope it start getting green updates again

I find out about her the last trimester of 2007, I used to visit this blog filled with lots of Disney music and news, and they announced Camp Rock and introduced Demi as the lead role, I saw this picture of her and I thought the same thing, "Another pretty girl with no voice at all"
And they also uploaded her demos of Shadow, Stronger, Trash and Open, so...I give her a try and I was completely surprised and slayed by her voice, I overplayed Shadow like no other Demi song and then few weeks later I registered a domain for a fansite dedicated to her but I never get the chance of finishing the website...and then Camp Rock came, and I heard This Is Me, and like you..it whas my anthem, I want to be a singer also, and that song make me fight for my dreams...and the rest is history.

If This Is Me is a ballad, it would have been so much more inspiring

Get Back is the worst step in Demi's career, if she had a better first single (since it somehow would carry the impression towards her) she would have been more successful tbh.

I stan for good music, doesn't matter which genre
Well, the genre doesn't matter a lot anyway, there are certain genres I just won't listen to though... Heavy Metal, and Rap that's only about how cool they are, etc.
But I indeed saw Demi on Camp Rock like 4 years back or so, and I thought she looked good and could sing really good, but that was all.
Then I saw Camp Rock again 1.5 years later. I saw her name at the credits at the end.
Then a few months later, Now 2 years ago, I randomly thought of her again, and even remembered her name...
I then searched her on Youtube and found the HWGA video, and then the Remember December video, and I became a fan...
So even though I knew about her 4 years ago, I only actually became a fan 2 years ago...

Get Back is okay, La La Land, on the other hand, was ****ing amazing, I think maybe La La Land, Trainwreck or On The Line (because of the Jonas Hype) would've been better options...
Which song do you think deserved to be her first single?

Yeah, I kinda get you, the acoustic version slays me so hard, but the original is just

Gotta admit that at first I used to skip that song, but recently I got into it, and is definitely amazing, the lyrics, vocals, production, the feeling behind it. Is just perfect.
