I took a break from ATRL for a day because I knew it wouldn't be nice with the song dropping and all, but I do believe the song alienated some of her fanbase (just look at the YouTube comments, ranging from accusing her of plagiarism to complaining that it wasn't her singing, to her saying "f*ck",'. I hope the other person is right and that this single/era will attract new fans that were previously not interested in her due to her Disney image. And even if it doesn't, who cares! Us Fans still will still get new music regardless and I'm sure the people complaining about this being a "generic pop song" will get those ballads they want from Demi too.
