The only thing that hindered it was the US. It sold decently WW, but the US just wasn't having it. If she would have removed the Jesus mention and didn't pander on about how it's a metaphor from the Bible, it would have done fine and people wouldn't have had a problem.
No well the only reason it didn't happen in the US was because of radio, I remember all these radio DJs were saying they loved it but after Bill Donahue went on a ****ing warpath to stop that song I guess stations got scared
I love how when a song or video flops it's always someone else's fault and never hers.
No TEOG was her fault but Judas has the most views out of all her videos so I'm just trynna figure out why it didn't do well in the biggest music market
Hardly a born smash when it turned off almost everyone above the age of 30 in the US.
No one wants to hear Lady Gaga screeching about Judas, even though it's my favorite track by her. Plus the industrial beat sounded too loud and messy on radio.
