I have the perfect concept for a music video for "Overdose". She should be a vampire in the music video.
Concept:
Ciara is a sexy vampire craving blood from a man. She's seen wearing something sexy but vintage looking. In the video she's joined by an army of dancers as she tries to contain herself going after her prey and taking a bite. The video can include a sexy bedroom scene where she's with the man embracing him but containing herself from biting him. She is also nude and is only covered by silk sheets. The setting can look like something from Janet Jackson "So Excited" music video. Fierce choreography all throughout and vintage outfits. Her hair is also black in the video.
Alternative scenes:
Throughout the music video Ciara can also be seen strutting in a hallway (The Game episode esque) singing parts of the verses.
Ending:
Video ends with the men laying dead on the bed, with Ciara not in sight. (Setting, She Wolf music video intro esque).
Since Halloween is coming up, that theme would be perfect.

Definetly R&B song of the year. Its still my most played on iTunes, and is with me everywhere i go. Its Ciara's best after Promise. and will remain a R&B classic.

but Suit & Tie, Mirrors, Blurred Lines would eclipse Ci in every possible way.

Uh-uh, not anymore, it's unisex now that the rules have changed.
These are the R&B cats:
Best R&B Song
Best R&B Performance (Vocal)
Best Traditional R&B Performance
Best Urban Contemporary Album
Best R&B Album
So yeah, her best hopes are Best R&B Song and Best Urban Album if she doesn't snatch at least a nominations in those two then it's shade. The Grammys are very weird with her.

she'd most likely score a Best Urban Contemporary Album or best Traditional R&B Performance nom. On the album side of things, if they consider 'Unapologetic', 'Blurred Lines' or 'The 20/20 Experience' Urban Contemporary those would knock her out. I would say best R&B album but 'Ciara' is probably too much of a genre-mixer to go up against John Legend (who has won twice already), India.Aire, Tamar, K. Michelle, Alicia Keys, etc. So that would be a hard group to battle in. Tamar's "Love & War" might snatch best Traditional R&B performance, unless they sneak in someone like Luke James or one of those "real" R&B records that flew under the radar.
I can def. see her scoring two maybe three nominations (if the album sales pick up).
