Nothing can really top Laffy Taffy/My Life Would Suck Without You over the last 10 years.

Pfft. Her number ones are actually good, though. Far better than this abomination that's currently contending.
"Work" is pretty horrid too, so any situation where "7 Years" doesn't take the top spot next week is a lose-lose situation, tbh.

Diplo played Laffy Taffy at XS a few weeks ago in Vegas and it was amazing. Everyone lost their minds. Classic.

"Work" is one of the funnest songs to come around in a while. Singing along to it with your friends or at the club is everything. There's a reason it's been able to get 8 weeks atop.

not even mad about Panda being #1 bc Panda might block 7 Years (at least for now)

Can we say Drake got the Song of the Summer on lock? When it will take the #1 spot from Panda or 7 Years? :3

If Panda can block 7 Shades of Shite from #1 then I'm all for it.

Work From Home would be the first top-five single for a girl group since Buttons (summer 2006).

Yas, Rihanna. Not only for slaying for 8 weeks, but for keeping that god awful 7 Years song from #1.

So the fight for number one will be real soon.
People can't underestimate Needed Me as well. That single is rising like DH style almost, video is bound to come very soon. Panda is practically number one already, and Drake is likely a strong contender for number one. Charts are going to be exciting over the next few months. Plus we got Bey,Brit, Gaga, all potentially releasing soon
My boys Twenty One Pilots sneaking up on the charts for summer with Ride. . I could totally see that pulling a Cheerleader, Rude, Am I Wrong for summer smash. Because here we are in April and it's already slowly increasing in all three metrics already

Well I mean they both had drops, temporary rebounds, continued drops, and then gradual rises

For both songs, it was obvious that the GP wanted this as a single and they had no choice but to release it or it would continue to eff up other singles released. NM and DH are more urban rhythmic sounding than Unconditionally and KIB. So that's why I think they are very similar. For Rihanna standards, it's selling well for its radio play ratio. Ri was never a big seller in terms of her peers. We all remember how big DH was in streaming. NM will perform similarly it seems, we just need a video.
