Honestly, here's how I feel about Scooter: His other artists like Carly, Tori and CL won't take off. Justin is all Scooter has and there's not much guidance from Scooter needed there anyway considering he has immense star power, a huge fanbase and creative control over his music.

The fact that Ariana booked SNL (and Jimmy Kimmel last month) is a good sign though that her new team is still strategic about promo and can book her big spots. Also, Republic Records, in general, seems to invest in their artists.

Anyway, I have no idea why she left Scooter in the first place but the fact that she unfollowed him makes me think it wasn't exactly amicable on Ariana's end.

I really think focus in part has to do with it. I feel like scooter was trying to push out another my everything era from ariana and she wasn't here for it. And when focus under performed that was the final straw and ultimately led to her parting ways with him. I have faith in her new team though. Hence the change in musical direction or at least image wise from "moonlight" to "dangerous woman" after he was removed from the picture.

Yeah, I know a lot of people don't like the "Dangerous Woman" stuff (not gonna lie, I think it's a bit cringey) but it's cool that Ariana's doing what she wants to do and taking a bold feminist stance. I could definitely believe that she left Scooter because she wanted more creative control.

His management twitter account hasn't mentioned anything about her in months, and they tweet about any upcoming thing about artists on their roster daily

I'm glad the few of you with common sense can see that the Ari we're seeing NOW is her. I have no doubt the cutesy image and catering to the Nick crowd so far into her career was mostly Scooters idea who most likely wanted her to hold on to that crowd since that's really where the money is, he did the same thing with Justin but we all know how that turned out bad for him once he started to become a young man so I'm glad Ari cut ties before it was too late.

I'm also glad that she's pushing for a more urban sound, it's always been her strong suit and she obviously loves it so much so everyone is happy including us stans who had to go through the ME era and witness the true bops get paid dust and be put on the back burner
