Don't believe in everything said on Award Shows. Those numbers from the American Music Awards were highly inflated.

For example, according to the World Music Awards Celine Dion is the Best Selling Female of all time just because they gave her a leyend award that night. (when in reality Madonna is the best selling female).
They also said that Destiny's Child is the best selling female group of all time and that's a lie because the Spice Girls sold more than them.

That's what I was asking about earlier. I remember on the AMAs, it said that Beyonce sold 160 million (I'm guessing DC included). It sounds incredibly inflated. Not to mention, the receipts being presented don't even match up with those claims.

The third paragraph wouldn't lie, and then look at the date and add the rest she has sold since then. And the Spice Girls sold more albums, did they sell more of the other records that have to be included for a full total of the groups sales NO!

Forbes doesn't use the IFPI as a source AFAIK so yes technically they could lie. The Spice Girls still sold more singles and you're forgetting all of their successful "music videos."
