Guys stop complaining.
It's ok if they think your black skin is disgusting.

It goes both ways. Young black children consume the same media that white children do. They're taught from the beginning that they should aspire to whiteness.
A black child who turns on the TV channel and sees only white people getting awards for acting, music etc.. will inherently connect success and awards with white people. If you turn on a fashion show and see only white people being glorified as the standard of beauty, you will connect being white with being pretty. It is no wonder then, that internalized racism and self-hatred is a common thing within the black community, especially black women.
Like I don't have to go start linking the "which doll is prettier - the white one or the black one" videos, do I?

Nobodys saying like EVERY man. We're saying not to dismiss every man of a race solely because of their race because thats racist. You can date who you want lol

They don't think that other races of people are not as good as their own therefore they are NOT racist.
Racism is very important topic which should be studied in various disiplines but you are all acting a little bit conservator in this topic.

Categorizing one race as more appealing and attractive than another is still a form of ranking and therefore deeming one more superior in a certain stature over the other. If you feel white guys are better looking than black guys then that is saying they are "SUPERIOR" in looks to you than blacks. THAT'S RACIST!

You're completely missing the point. You state yourself that you can't be forced to like every type of man, but somehow you can be forced to dislike every type of man?
Being black is not a collective experience, every black person is not the same. Someone who is black can be a complete opposite of a person who is black. They can differ in their views on the world, they can differ in behavior, they can differ in their style of clothing, basically everything but the color of their skin**. To say that you're not attracted to black people is dismissing an ENTIRE RACE - countless of different people and personalities. In your mind, if somebody is black they act a certain way, they dress a certain way, they talk a certain way, they look the certain way - all of which stems from the harmful effects of stereotypes perpetuated by racism. It would be better said that what you're not attracted to is the typical racist image of a black man.
**yes, of course, they can differ in the shade of their skin and still be black, you get what I mean

Just think about the reasons why someone would dislike and dismiss a whole race. State them in this thread even. Why would someone not like black men? Think about them, and if you truly believe that isn't racist then that's sad.
It's more complicated than liking a penis or a vagina. And it's offensive as ****.

But how are you not assigning superiority to a race by saying that you're not attracted to black people at all? A person is attracted to what they find attractive. By saying that you don't find black people attractive is to say that you find white people more attractive in general. You're literally saying that the white race is more attractive than the black race. If that doesn't sound racist, I literally don't know what to tell you anymore.

Who cares? If someone says that, go on to someone else. It's better that they're open about it than you get interested and then find it out later. Like, them putting that on their profile does not intrude into your life in any way. And before someone claims that I'm just saying this because I have white privilege, I am predominantly black and have had people not be interested in me because of it... I get it, it's annoying. But, why sulk over not being able to get with an a-hole?
This topic has been done to death (especially on ATRL).

Black people come in all arrays of color, size, dick measurements, height weight, etc etc so if you are singling out an entire race just because they identify as black you are RACIST. You are ignorantly justified in your decision, just admit you're a little racist, and let the world keep spinning.

Give it a few years and people will say that being only interested in tall men is discrimination against white people. Political correctness doesn't exist because you'll never be able to reach it. The idea of it will always keep progressing more and more to the point where it doesn't make any sense. Being tall is a physical trait no different than skin color. I would never say I would never date a guy of X race. But, I do notice that I tend to like men of Y and Z race a lot more than men from X race. No different than someone saying they prefer taller men. The issue here is the absolute of "no _____s". Preference is an observable, undeniable thing.
However, the ONLY time I have ever encountered someone saying "no blacks," or "no asians" is on something like Grindr... And I cannot repeat this enough... You do NOT go onto Grindr expecting decency. It's an awful app where guys typically look for the closest thing to plug their penis into or vice versa. If anything, I would find people that use it and have sex being HIV+ and don't tell their partners. That's a LOT more troubling than "no blacks".

And to rewrite : I prefer both of the genders so don't try to target me personally. I am just approaching this topic in a different way.
And I think that you guys are missing the point because you don't know the meaning of racism.

I was sharing my thought in that sentence, and I am really wondering about what you guys are thinking about sexism part. Especially if you think that this is not sexist.
And I realized that all of you are writing in very subjective way using harsh words and points to... what beat my opinion ?

Sometimes they can be used interchangeable. But you used it in the context of comparison which is a straw man. Skin colour and height is a single attribute on it's own, it's physical, it's tangible. Race is an arbitrary social construct that encompasses a multitude of various attributes. Iman doesn't look like K. Michelle and Kelly Rowland doesn't look like Letoya Luckett. There's so much diversity within races, to write them off is ignorant and races.
That being said, if race was merely skin colour and no more critical or important than hair colour, eye colour, height etc . Why are the latter overlooked so easily but no race? You would never see people write off blondes, or those with brown eyes, so those comparisons are so disingenuous.

I understand that. But, in regards to the topic of this conversation, race is used primarily in reference to the color of skin. Not the social construction. That's what I was referring to in my post at least.
