FWB is defintely her most accesible stuff yet, but if you like it you will probably enjoy some of her older stuff as well, like Realiti, Entropy, Go, Genesis, Oblivion, Be A Body, Vanessa etc. If you like that you might wanna check out Visions and after that Halfaxa.

It's been said a million times now but, GO was never a Grimes song. Grimes songs are produced by herself. GO was originally intended for Rihanna, Rihanna turned it down, so Blood Diamonds produced it for Grimes a cute one off single to give something to fans. Go was never indicative of her scrapped album, or the direction she was going with anything. It is what it is and nothing more.

Realiti however WAS from her scrapped 2013-2014 album. Along with David.

The scrapped album was said to be moodier/sadder, and more personal. She scrapped it because she felt it was too depressing to put out, and because during her move to California, she acquired many more talents such as being able to play guitar and violin; so I assume she wanted to try an album featuring these elements.

i like how punchy the album is sounding and i actually really appreciate that it is distinctly poppier, she is a REALLY gifted pop songwriter idk why ya'll wanna try and deny her sometimes



also: i just read the lyrics for Scream and it reads like really dark intense poetry but it was interesting and the song makes me laugh so i guess i like it

David is amazing I agree. Quite strange she wasn't feeling her 2014 album when REALiTi and David came from it.... those are like two of her best songs. Makes you wonder about the rest.

fairly sure she said she'll release david at some point. she's reluctant to release it before its perfect due to the nature of the song, so it might be released as a japan bonus track or something next year.
