VH1 Music Video Adds for the Week
Beginning Monday, December 1
Counting Crows, "She Don't Want Nobody Near"
Elton John, "The Heart of Every Girl"
Jessica Simpson, "With You"
Train, "When I Look to the Sky"
Here's what to expect for next week:
* We start off December with some more OutKast domination!
* A countdown debut from a Canadian singer bringing us some of her folklore.
* Another countdown debut from arguably the most successful American Idol runner-up so far (and most definitely the most successful runner-up by then).
* And of course, we say goodbye to two videos, both of which involve colors (one in the artist's name and the other in the song name).
^ Think American Idol runner-ups... Now which one's the most successful one you can think??
If it helps, this one's a male, and he has a VERY loyal following... of middle-aged women. They're such big fans that they've come up with a name for themselves: In includes his first name and the word -mate. That should hopefully help.
The debuts! (yes, I actually like that Clay Aiken song... and "Powerless" )
P!nk falling off, though
Great to see OutKast dominating the chart, also!
Here's what to expect for next week:
* It's the LAST COUNTDOWN of 2003!!!
* There will be a brand-new and final #1 video.
* And there will be two countdown debuts:
>> One from an Aussie rock band asking a very simple and straightforward question to someone from the opposite gender.
>> The other from an R&B diva who's been dominating the VH1 Top 20 for the second half of the year (and who for the second time this year will have two videos on the countdown at the same time).
I'm SURE someone will be able to guess the Beyoncé video before I update (most likely tonight). An couple of hints: It's one of her more mellow songs and it's title is the same to that of several other songs, including a De La Soul one.
