The highs on the debut are better. Lungs, Tether, By the Throat, Strong Hands, Gun, Under the Tide are all better than the majority of this album.
But, this album as a WHOLE is better. I don't feel the need to skip anything on this album like I do Bones (Recover, Lies, You Caught the Light, Science/Visions). The only "skip-worthy" track for me is Empty Threat and even that is a stretch. Nothing on this album feels like it should have been scrapped for another song - which is not the case for some material on Bones.
There's pureness, clarity, sometimes sadness but overall, this album is really beautiful!

And I can't @ you downgrading NEC and Empty Threat like that, they're 10/10's. And no HETCYO is defo not their best song, it's not even the best in EOE
