A definite stand-out on Sorry I'm Late, Killin' It plays the role of Cher at what she's known best for: bratty, upbeat pop. In a fair world, this song would've been a cute cult hit This song was written with Tove Lo, which makes it even better

I find it surprising how little I've listened to this song considering how much longevity it had for me in the second half of the year. A really cool record good for any time or mood. Hope to see more Sylvan Esso in the near future.
• • • 58 • • • Rustie • Dream On
I don't really know much about Rustie but I listened to his new album Green Language somehow this year and this is the song I took from it. Empowering yet light-hearted electronica to which I enjoy.
• • • 57 • • • FKA twigs • Lights On
The opener to FKA's debut record LP1 (after the hymnal intro, of course) is definitely deserving of its album-opener title. It starts the pumping blood of the record in a very sensual and casual-yet-intricate way.
• • • 56 • • • Sia • Chandelier
I've loved this song since the week it was released and it graced my ears. It made me very happy to see the song blossom into a hit - I always knew it deserved to be.
• • • 55 • • • Bombay Bicycle Club • Feel
I'm usually not into the whole "modern indie rock" thing but this song is exceptional due to the many influences and sounds it manages to encapsulate with ease. Also, it makes for a great addition to a party playlist.
• • • 54 • • • Nick Jonas • Jealous
Just when I thought he was incapable of topping Chains, Nick came and delivered one of the most instant pop hits of the year. Jealous is probably one of the more deserving hits this year - and most infectious! Then there's the naughty Tinashe remix
• • • 53 • • • Phantogram • Howling At the Moon
Quite a random song to consider my favorite Phantogram song, maybe, but there's something about this one that makes me love it. Maybe it's the clangy percussion or maybe the catchy hook. They did something right!
• • • 52 • • • Porcelain Black • One Woman Army
Poor Porcelain will probably never get the stardom (even low key) that she deserves, but this song proved that she does deserve it... or something, anything! Hope she moves forward in 2015.
• • • 51 • • • Ariana Grande & Major Lazer • All My Love
This was one expected BOP. Major Lazer is usually decent but not serving these stadium anthemic pop smashes. A huge, huge highlight on the Mockingjay soundtrack as well as both of their careers. Maybe something will come of this song besides the title of random soundtrack song - or maybe another collaboration is underway (please).
