I understand what you're saying but maybe you actually haven't read the comments in here because they went far past commenting on "just a look" as you say. Maybe insulting someone's physical appearance, calling them ugly, old, fat etc. is normal for you when you see someone wearing an outfit you don't like, but I would hope that isn't normal for most people. Do you even see the language you used there? You commented on Rihanna's look (her clothes) and then commented on what Beyonce looks like (more than her clothes). I get it though, Rihanna wore a very youthful dress with a ponytail on the top of her head. Beyonce wore a more vintage silhouette with a dark veil and sleek, formal hair. There will be a difference in the look appearance but the extent that people are taking it is far beyond preference. There seems to be an enjoyment in insulting Beyonce and while it has nothing to do with who is more successful I think a lot of it is just enjoying the fact that there is an opportunity to shade Beyonce. But maybe not. Maybe people are resorting to such hyperbolic comments because they don't want to shade her.

Regardless, Beyonce has been consistently on all the best dressed lists of the evening (as has Rihanna) and since I value fashion writers over hyperactive stans, all is fine.

And as for what would happen in a reverse situation, if the Hive decided to just start shading Rihanna's dress … I can't comment on the whole group and I know there are some really pressed members of the Hive, but this comment came from me, not from the entire stanbase and there is no way I'd be saying the types of things about Rihanna that are in this thread. If you seriously think it's okay to act poorly because another group would do it too, then you need to grow up a bit.

There's no urgency or over abundance of emotion in my comments. I just thought this should be addressed. I know this isn't serious. This is ATRL. A land of pressed stans, overactive stans, deluded stans, stans of all types. No one in the real world would take an inch of this thread very seriously but I thought #TICON was a thing and we were all supposed to get along, not throw cruel insults around just because of a dress.
